Anne Hathaway is shutting down the speculation that her new movie The Idea of You is inspired by Harry Styles and his real-life romances with older women.

The Idea of You follows a 40-year-old woman who meets the 24-year-old lead singer of a band while attending a music festival with her daughter. They strike up a romance!

Anne stars in the well-reviewed Prime Video movie with Nicholas Galitzine and they’ve been facing questions about Harry while doing press.

The movie is based on Robinne Lee‘s book of the same name and readers have previously wondered if the story was inspired by Harry‘s romances with older women, including recent ex-girlfriend Olivia Wilde.

It’s been years since One Direction went on an indefinite hiatus, and Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik have all found success as solo stars. However, anticipation for a reunion is showing no signs of dying down in 2024.

In the last year alone, almost every member of the group has been asked about the possibility of them getting back together. In fact, there was already a major rumor that a reunion was planned, but it wound up being false.

This week, Zayn officially launched a new era with the release of his single “What I Am.” It’s just the start: A new album will follow.

Zayn Malik opened up about a scary near-miss that involved Harry Styles during a concert in his One Direction days.

The 31-year-old “Pillow Talk” crooner sat down for a very rare interview while completing the Hot Ones challenge with Sean Evans. During it, he was asked about the worst technical difficulty that he’d ever experienced onstage.

Thankfully, nothing bad had ever happened to him directly. However, he did save his former bandmate from a very near mishap involving a pyro tool.

Nicholas Galitzine is addressing a big rumor about his new movie The Idea of You.

The 29-year-old Red, White & Royal Blue actor stars in the love story alongside Anne Hathaway. In it, he plays a 24-year-old boy bander named Hayes Campbell who falls in love with a 40-year-old single mom named Solène.

After seeing Nicholas in action in the newly released trailer, fans have noticed that his character draws certain parallels to Harry Styles.

He weighed in on the whispers during a new interview.

The “Watermelon Sugar” crooner made his big screen debut in 2017′s Dunkirk. Since then, he’s pursued a career as a movie star while still ruling the charts with his music.
