'Nashville' Season 5 Trailer Promises Lots to Come - Watch Now!

The first trailer for the new episodes of season five of Nashville is here, and it’s teasing some big moments to come.

The returning cast includes Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes, Clare Bowen as Scarlett O’Connor, Chris Carmack as Will Lexington, Charles Esten as Deacon Claybourne, Jonathan Jackson as Avery Barkley, Sam Palladio as Gunnar Scott, Maisy Stella as Daphne Conrad and Lennon Stella as Maddie Conrad.

Connie Britton, who originally starred in the show, won’t be returning for new episodes.

The new episodes land online on June 1, 2017. Be sure to tune in!

'Nashville' Renewed for Season 6 by CMT

Nashville has officially been renewed for a sixth season on CMT!

Hayden Panettiere and Charles Esten confirmed the news in a video that they filmed on the set of the current fifth season.

It was also announced that the second half of season five will begin airing on June 1. The mid-season finale showed the characters trying to heal after the death of Connie Britton‘s character Rayna James.

Viola Davis & James Franco to Star in New Lifetime Movies!

Viola Davis and James Franco are both heading to Lifetime for new original movies!

The Oscar-nominated actress will be starring alongside Hayden Panettiere, Ellen Burstyn, and Catalina Sandino Moreno in the upcoming film Custody.

Custody revolves around three women brought together when hard-working single mother, Sara Diaz (Moreno), has her children taken from her after she is suspected of injuring her son. Ally Fisher (Panettiere), a recent law school graduate, is assigned to represent her case before Judge Martha Schulman (Davis), a veteran of the Family Court System. It will premiere on Saturday, March 4 at 8pm.

James will be starring in High School Lover, his second movie with Lifetime.

Who Is Returning for 'Nashville' Season 5? Almost Everyone!

Nashville returns tonight for a fifth season on CMT after being cancelled by ABC in 2016.

The show will see the return of Connie Britton as Rayna James and Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes.

Many are wondering – who else from the original cast on ABC will be moving forward with the show on the new network. Well, it turns out, almost everyone!

Will Chase and Aubrey Peeples are not expected to return for the full season, but their presence may be felt!

Hayden Panettiere Opens Up About Postpartum Depression Battle: 'I'm All the Stronger For It'

Hayden Panettiere is opening up about her battle with postpartum depression.

The 27-year-old Nashville star was featured on Good Morning America on Thursday (January 5) in New York City ahead of the season 5 premiere later tonight.

“It takes you a while and you feel off,” Hayden said, after giving birth to daughter Kaya. “You don’t feel like yourself.”

“Women are so resilient, and that’s the incredible thing about them. I think I’m all the stronger for it. I think I’m a better mom because of it because you never take that connection for granted,” Hayden continued.
