The cast, joined by Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, and Brad Falchuk, were officially welcomed to the city by Mayor Bloomberg while on break from filming their hit Fox show.

“Mayors don’t get a lot of time to watch television, so I don’t know much about this season’s plot but actually it would be great to see what happens with Finn and Rachel,” Michael joked, referring to Lea Michele and Cory Monteith‘s characters.

Cory, Mark Salling, Kevin McHale, and Harry Shum Jr. also attended the news conference.

Dianna Agron steps down a huge staircase as she shoots scenes for an upcoming episode of Glee in New York City’s Times Square on Monday (April 25).

The 24-year-old actress filmed a scene with co-stars Lea Michele, Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Ashley Fink in one of the city’s busiest spots!

“Good morning! It’s 5am and it’s never been easier to get up for work…. Because we are shooting in NY!!! Couldn’t be happier!” Jenna tweeted before heading to work on Monday.

Darren Criss, Chris Colfer, and Cory Monteith chat during the Paley Center for Media’s Paleyfest 2011 Event honoring Glee, held at the Saban Theatre on Wednesday (March 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Also in attendance were Amber Riley, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, and the show’s co-creator, Ryan Murphy!

Ryan shared a few tidbits about what’s to come, including a prom episode that will likely include a performance from the Warblers!

Kevin also shared that he’s been getting mean messages on Twitter telling him to stay away from Brittany. “I’m not Artie!” he protested.

FYI: Naya is wearing an alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet “Riley” short sleeve blouse with tie. Mark is wearing Cult of Individuality jeans.

Lea Michele arrives home after a day full of shooting Glee‘s Regionals episode on Wednesday (February 23) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old actress was joined on set by comedian Kathy Griffin, who landed a guest starring role in the episode as a judge at the Regionals competition.

Kathy brought along her mom Maggie and assistant Tiffany, who tweeted “I have 2 say, the cast of Glee is the hardest working cast I’ve ever seen.”

Heather Morris and the cast of Glee perform their version of Ke$ha‘s infamous song “Tik Tok” on next week’s episode of the hit FOX series!

In the episode, “Principal Figgins teaches the student body about the danger of underage drinking, and the glee club is personally touched by the message, and eventually all get drunk with the Warblers.”

Other songs in “Blame It on the Alcohol” include “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer,” “Don’t You Want Me,” and “Blame It.”

Heather Morris rocks her Cheerios uniform on the cover of American Cheerleader magazine’s March/April 2011 issue!

Here’s what the 24-year-old Glee actress, dancer, and singer had to share with the mag:

On why she thinks people are so passionate about Glee: “I think our generation is definitely more open and accepting. But more so, we have technology and music – and people cling to the music most. When things are down economically, people reach for something else, and I think people like the show because it keeps their spirits up. A lot of people tell me that they come home and Glee’s the thing that keeps them going. We don’t have many positive TV shows anymore.”

On Brittany’s great one-liners: “I think everybody wants to have a Brittany-ism! She can say any random thing and it’s funny. I look forward to [the lines] I have to say.”

On crazy rumors: “Not that I need to clear this up, but I did think it was funny when there was a picture taken where I had a great bra on and they said I got a boob job because I was famous now. I was like, ‘What?’”

Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Harry Shum, Jr., Chord Overstreet, and Darren Criss will all take part!

“The cast and I were so moved by the love and enthusiasm of our fans at last year’s concerts that we knew we had to do it again,” co-creator Ryan Murphy said. “There is something magical about thousands of ‘Gleeks’ coming together to share a special night with our cast, and this tour is one way we can thank them for their unbelievable support from the beginning.”

Tickets will go on sale for Amex cardholders on Friday (February 11) and to the general public on Saturday (February 19) at 10 a.m.
