The Hellboy reboot is coming!
The Crooked Man is due to film in the next few months, and they’ve just found the lead actor: Jack Kesy, of Deadpool 2 fame. (He played Black Tom in the movie.)
He’s also starred in movies like 12 Strong and Baywatch, as well as TV series Claws and The Strain.

David Harbour walks the red carpet at the premiere of his film Hellboy on Tuesday (April 9) at the AMC Lincoln Square theater in New York City.
The 44-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Milla Jovovich, Daniel Dae Kim, Sasha Lane, and Penelope Mitchell.
David‘s girlfriend Alison Sudol also posed alongside him on the red carpet!
Hellboy is hitting theaters this weekend.

Milla Jovovich is red hot as she strikes a pose at the trailer premiere celebration for her anticipated film Hellboy held at the IMAX headquarters on Thursday (February 28) in Los Angeles.
The 43-year-old actress was joined at the event by the creator of the comic book Mike Mignola as they presented the brand new trailer exclusively for a select group of fans.
David Harbour, best known for Stranger Things, plays the title character, a legendary half-demon superhero who is called to the English countryside to battle a trio of rampaging giants.
There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue (Milla), a resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world – Watch the new trailer here!

David Harbour buddies up to co-stars Sasha Lane and Daniel Dae Kim at the 2018 New York Comic-Con on Saturday afternoon (October 6) in New York City.
The stars stopped by the event to promote their highly anticipated new movie Hellboy alongside the comic’s creator Mike Mignola.

During their panel discussion, David opened up about taking over the lead role from Ron Perlman – who played Hellboy in the 2004 version of the film.
“Even approaching the character I was nervous because Ron’s iconic and he’s a great Hellboy,” David said. “So I was like, I’m not going to imitate that. I’m going to do my own thing because I do not do what he does. My approach was a little bit more down and dirty. My Hellboy feels a little younger. He’s got hair, which is a big thing. He’s got a lot more inner turmoil, he’s a little more lost in the universe. He’s got more what I bring.”
Hellboy hits theaters on April 12, 2019.

Selma Blair starred in the first two Hellboy movies and now she’s sharing her thoughts on the upcoming reboot, set to star David Harbour.
Guillermo Del Toro directed Hellboy and Hellboy II: The Golden Army, but he wasn’t given the chance to make a third film.
“God, you know, people are fans of Hellboy and also fans of Guillermo. So part of us, the ones that were so loyal to Guillermo, our hearts are broken that it didn’t work out with the greatest third installment ever written that I wish I could play more than anything in the world,” Selma told Cinema Blend when asked about her thoughts of the reboot.
“But I truly hope that Mike Mignola has his vision out there for the darker Hellboy come to light, and I’m sure he will, and David Harbour is excellent and everyone involved, but no my heart is broken,” Selma added.
