The 30-year-old British actor was joined on the red carpet with his co-stars Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Laurence Fishburne, Ayelet Zurer, Antje Traue, and Russell Crowe.

Earlier in the day, Henry and Amy promoted their new film on Good Morning America and Katie.

Henry Cavill walks through a crowd of fans while heading into the studio at Good Morning America on Monday morning (June 10) in New York City’s Times Square.

The 30-year-old actor was joined by his Man of Steel co-star Kevin Costner and his wife Christine Baumgartner at the show that morning.

Later in the day, Amy Adams met up with the guys, including Michael Shannon, while taping an appearance on Katie. Make sure to tune in to the show on Thursday!

Henry Cavill and Amy Adams heat up the cover of Interview magazine‘s June/July 2013 issue, on newsstands June 18.

Here is what the Man of Steel co-stars had to share with the mag:

Henry on having real chemistry with Amy: “For me, it’s more like I go to work, I do a job, I play a role, and then I go home. I don’t wear a cape at home. I’m not an invulnerable alien at home. I’m not in love with a woman called Lois Lane at home. I know there are a lot of people who get very involved I their characters, but I, personally, find it too involved. I just like to do it as a job— and it’s my job to make it look real.”

Henry on his emotions: “As much as I do love real-life stories they can often make you hurt in a way I’d rather not hurt. But I think that the hurt aspect is just something that exists in a lot of great stories because people can associate with it. If there’s one thing that we’re very good at as humans, it’s remembering the bad stuff. For some reason, it’s always the pain that gets you.”

Amy on filming her latest project in Boston during the bombings: “It was surreal. But I’m not somebody to sort of personalize a tragedy like that, unless it’s something that happened to me personally, so I felt like the important thing at that point was to reach out to the community. The people in Boston— their sense of community is so important to them. So instead of making it about my personal drama, I saw it more as a personal mission to reach out and try to help the people who were affected by it however we could.”

The 30-year-old Man of Steel actor recently chatted with USA Today about getting cast as Superman.

“I’m thinking, ‘He’s letting me down easy,’” Henry said about director Zack Snyder‘s phone call. “And then he said, ‘I was also wondering if you wanted to do a little movie with me.’ Inside there were fireworks going off. But I played it extremely cool.”

Henry Cavill poses at a photo call to promote his new film Man of Steel on Friday (June 7) at the St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City, Mex.

The 30-year-old actor is also pictured inside posing with personal trainer Eric Fleishman after a workout earlier in the week. “Even Superman loves a massive workout #Kabooom,” Eric tweeted.

Henry just appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, where he talked about initially ignoring the call from Man of Steel director Zack Snyder… because of his gaming addiction.

“I’m a big PC gamer, and I was playing an online game called World of Warcraft,” Henry said. “I was playing this game, and you can’t save it. You can’t pause or anything, and other people are relying on you to play certain roles on a team. And it was a highpoint of the game. And so the phone’s ringing, and I’m ignoring it and ignoring it, because I’m not going to bail on these guys. And I look down and it’s Zack Snyder calling, so I dive for the phone, and I missed the call from Zack Snyder, the one I’d been waiting for, for Man Of Steel.”

Henry Cavill looks dapper as can be while making an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday (June 6) in Burbank, Calif.

The 30-year-old Man of Steel actor was joined on the night’s program by Zooey Deschanel, who performed a song with her band She & Him.

“Having had all the ups and downs maybe made me want to work all the harder,” Henry told USA Today about getting turned down for James Bond. “Yeah, bad things will happen to you. And you’ll get kicked (down) a few times. Stand up.”

“I got lucky enough to have a second shot with different people whose vision I fit into,” he added about getting the role of Superman.
