WHAT DO YOU THINK of the video for Hunter Parrish’s “Sitting At Home”?

Showtime’s leading television stars from the hit shows Weeds and Dexter hit the stage at the 2012 Television Critics Association summer tour at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (July 30) in Los Angeles.

Weeds‘ Mary-Louise Parker and Hunter Parrish, accompanied by Justin Kirk, Kevin Nealon, Alexander Gould, and writer/producer Jenji Kohan, and Dexter‘s Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, sat on the panel and answered some gripping questions about what is in store for our favorite characters next season.

“Whatever your opinion about the ranking the seasons, Dexter is never more compelling than when he is in trouble,” Michael said about the upcoming season of Dexter. “And he’s never been in deeper trouble than he is now.”

“I just cried when I read it,” Mary-Louise said about the final script of Weeds, which is concluding it’s run this year.

Hunter recently talked about his crossover to the music industry, telling Paper magazine., “I’ve been making music on my own since I was fifteen but shortly after that, I got Weeds so my life and my career became more about TV.”

“Also, I was told early on to break into music first, but that didn’t happen for me. So does that mean that you abandon your passion for music? For me, the answer is no. Am I scared? Sure. You watch these actors try and make albums and if it doesn’t hit, they sort of die off. I’ve always had the desire for music so my intention is to make music whether people really respond to it or not,” he added.

“This is a chance for me to show people that I write my own music and to share another part of myself,” Hunter told Broadway.com

“A lot of the music is about love,” Hunter said. “Some of it is just love for my momma and there are some ex-girlfriends I’ve been writing about…I don’t think they’ll be angry, I’m not like Taylor Swift!”
