Kerry Washington meets up with legendary supermodel Iman at the Elle & Tod’s celebration of her magazine cover on Wednesday (May 15) at Il Buco Alimentari & Vinera in New York City.

The 36-year-old actress was joined at the event by her Scandal co-stars Guillermo Diaz and Darby Stanchfield, as well as Katie Lowes and Bellamy Young (not pictured).

“Soooo @mrjoezee – FYI @KatieQLowes GEEKED out the whole way home from our @ELLEmagazine dinner becuz she LOVED U on #TheCity !!!!! 😄” Kerry tweeted.

Iman and Naomi Campbell walk the red carpet at the MET Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2) in New York City.

Iman, 55, wore a sparkling jumpsuit by Stella McCartney paired with Sergio Rossi shoes and a Kotur clutch, while Naomi, 40, wore Alexander McQueen and paid tribute to the late designer.

Hayden Christensen and Precious actress Gabourey Sidibe hit the red carpet at the New York premiere of The Lazarus Effect at NYC’s Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday (May 4).

The Lazarus Effect is a film that hopes to increase awareness for its efforts to fight AIDS in Africa. The flick will premiere on HBO, YouTube and Channel 4 (UK). Watch the promo video here!

(RED) is introducing The Lazarus Effect Campaign, intended to increase awareness for its efforts to fight AIDS in Africa.

The campaign, directed by renowned photographer Brigitte Lacombe, has celebrities rattle off items that could be bought for 40 cents (the value of one day’s worth of life transforming antiretroviral medication).

Celebs featured: Bono, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Julianne Moore, Claire Danes, Iman, Hugh Jackman, Orlando Bloom, Lucy Liu, Gabourey Sidibe, Kerry Washington, Bryan Cranston, Jane Lynch, Michelle Rodriguez, Gwen Stefani, Hayden Christensen, Don Cheadle, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Ludacris, Common, Benicio Del Toro, Dakota Fanning and Christy Turlington.

Rihanna is presented with “The Back-On-Top Superstar” award at Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards at NYC’s Carnegie Hall on Monday (November 9).

“This year, we saw a different face of Rihanna,” model Iman said as she presented the 21-year-old superstar with her award. “She’s an indelible image of worldly pain and now, more than ever, I am more than impressed with her honesty and courage… She has taken her own scars and used them to create a new story of strength and awareness.”
