Congratulations are in order for Taylour Paige!

The 31-year-old actress won the award for Best Female Lead at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Taylour won the award for playing the title character in the movie Zola. She was joined at the event by co-stars Colman Domingo (who was up for Best Supporting Male) and Ts Madison, director and co-writer Janicza Bravo, co-writer Jeremy O. Harris, and editor Joi McMillon.

Joi won the award for Best Editing.

During the show, co-host Nick Offerman parodied the movie by showing up on stage in a barely-there outfit and he was ready to get on a stripper pole. See photos in the gallery!

Isabelle Fuhrman and Amy Forsyth step out on the blue carpet at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The two The Novice stars posed for pictures with their director, Lauren Hadaway, ahead of the show.

The Novice is actually nominated for Best Feature at the Spirit Awards.

Isabelle is up for Best Actress at the show, with Kali Reis, and Brittany S. Hall.

Amy was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress, as was Suzanna Son. Passing‘s Ruth Negga won that trophy.

FYI: Amy wore a Saint Laurent look. Isabelle wore a flowy Christian Dior look. Suzanna wore an Alexander McQueen dress.

Thuso Mbedu hits the blue carpet in a chic look at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 30-year-old actress was nominated for Best Female Performance in a New Scripted Series at the ceremony and WON for her role as Cora Randall in The Underground Railroad, which is streaming on Prime Video.

Lee Jung-jae (not pictured) was the Best Male Performance winner for Squid Game.

Thuso was joined at the event by nominated actors like It’s a Sin star Olly Alexander, The White Lotus‘s Murray Bartlett and Them‘s Deborah Ayorinde and Ashley Thomas.

Rutherford Falls’ Jana Schmieding and Michael Greyeyes, Blindspotting’s Jasmine Cephas Jones, and We Are Lady Parts’ Anjana Vasan were also see on the blue carpet for the event.

Bob Odenkirk and Rhea Seehorn joked about his heart attack on stage at the Spirit Awards.

The Better Call Saul co-stars were presenters at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The event marked Bob‘s first major public appearance since his heart attack in July 2021. The medical emergency happened while he was on the set of the AMC series.

Daveed Diggs picked out the most colorful suit ever for the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 40-year-old actor cozied up to longtime love Emmy Raver-Lampman on the blue carpet before joining his Blindspotting co-stars at the event.

Helen Hunt, Benjamin Earl Turner, Candace Nicholas-Lippman, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Jaylen Barron, Rafael Casal, and Quentin Robinson were all seen on the blue carpet, where the show is nominated for Best New Scripted Series.

Additionally, Jasmine is also nominated for Best Female Performance in a New Scripted Series honor.

Sosie Bacon and Scoot McNairy are such a sweet couple on the red carpet!

The 29-year-old actress and the 44-year-old actor stepped out at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The couple is at the event to support Scoot‘s movie C’mon, C’mon, which is up for Best Feature, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.

The two actors both appeared in the Netflix series Narcos: Mexico. It’s not clear how long the couple has been together, but they made their red carpet debut back in December 2021 while attending the L.A. premiere of The Tender Bar. You can see those photos in the gallery.

For those who don’t know, Sosie is the daughter of Hollywood power couple Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick.

Taika Waititi shows off his bright salmon colored suit while arriving for the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards at the Santa Monica Pier on Sunday afternoon (March 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 46-year-old actor/director hit the blue carpet alongside the cast of Reservation Dogs – Paulina Alexis, Devery Jacobs, Sarah Podemski, and D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai.

The cast of the FX series picked up the Best Ensemble Cast in a New Scripted Series, and are also won for Best New Scripted Series at the ceremony.

“I am so proud to be a part of something that amplifies indigenous voices and especially proud to be making it with my brother @sterlinharjo,” Taika, who directed the series, stated on his Instagram as the series was announced in 2020.

FYI: D’Pharaoh wore an Amiri suit, David Yurman jewelry and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Taika wore a Dzojchen suit.
