Alanis Morissette is about to take over the 2023 CMT Music Awards with an epic performance!

The 48-year-old musician was spotted on the red carpet at Moody Center on Sunday (April 2) in Austin, Texas, just a few hours ahead of her performance, which will include Ingrid Andress, Lainey Wilson, Madeline Edwards, and Morgan Wade.

Alanis, and the quartet of country stars, will be hitting the stage later tonight for a collaborative performance of Alanis‘ “You Oughta Know”, which is in celebration of the CMT Next Women of Country’s 10th anniversary.

Lainey will also be performing solo during the night, and in addition, is up for four awards at the event including Female Video of the Year for “Heart Like A Truck”.

The 2023 CMT Music Awards will air on CBS, and you can also stream the show, hosting by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown, on Paramount+.

Miranda Lambert is celebrating her birthday at the 2021 Country Music Association Awards!

The country singer stepped out with hubby Brendan McLoughlin on her 38th birthday at the awards show held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night (November 10) in Nashville, Tenn.

Other stars in attendance included Kelsea Ballerini and husband Morgan Evans, Lady A, Carly Pearce, Mickey Guyton, Ingrid Andress, Maddie and Tae, and Tenille Townes.

Tonight, Miranda is up for Entertainer of the Year, alongside Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Luke Combs, and Chris Stapleton.

Ingrid Andress and Lauren Alaina show off their red carpet looks at the 2020 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 11) at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn.

Lots of country music stars stepped out for the event and others included in the gallery here include Ashley McBryde, Sara Evans, and Tenille Townes.

Ingrid was nominated for New Artist of the Year and she performed her song “More Hearts Than Mine” during the show. See her performance photos in the gallery!

Ashley was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and she performed “One Night Standards” for the audience.

Tenille was nominated for Musical Event of the Year alongside Ashley for their participation in the “Fooled Around and Fell in Love” performance.

Sara and Lauren were both at the event as presenters.

A rising star in the country music world that you should keep an eye on is Ingrid Andress and we sat down with her to learn some fun facts you probably don’t know about her!

The Denver-based singer was mentored by former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and she was just featured as part of CMT’s New Artist Discovery initiative.

• 1. I wrote my first song when I was 7 about getting the mail for my mom. Super catchy.
• 2. I used to choreograph dance routines with my siblings and performed them for my parents. “Who Let the Dogs Out” was by far our best performance.
• 3. My favorite item on my dresser right now is my lint roller.
• 4. In middle school I played drums in a metal band, and we used to practice emo-screaming in my basement.
• 5. When I really love a song, I play it on repeat the entire day. My roommate actually had to leave our house after hearing “B***h Better Have My Money” about 100 times.
