Joshua Jackson Opens Up About Sex & Blame in 'The Affair'

We’re always up for a sexy new drama on television, especially one that stars a small screen veteran hunk like Joshua Jackson, but The Affair brings an entirely new twist to the table.

Also starring Dominic West, Ruth Wilson, and Maura Tierney, the series explores the emotional and psychological effects of an extramarital affair, as told separately from the male and female perspectives.

JustJared.com recently caught up with the cast in New York City, where they opened up about sex, relationships, and how their show is bringing some much-needed truth to the age-old topic of infidelity.

“It’s always usually bullsh-t because sex is both totally satisfying, extremely passionate, super clumsy sometimes, occasionally funny, sometimes very angry – there’s all sorts of reasons,” Josh told us. “And if you put a narrative inside the act itself, suddenly the scene has a purpose beyond just getting people naked.”

See what else he and his castmates shared with us!

The Affair premieres TONIGHT, October 12 @ 10PM ET/PT on Showtime!

Sony Altering Seth Rogen & James Franco's 'The Interview' After Sparking North Korean Controversy

Sony is reportedly altering parts of The Interview to try and keep the peace after North Korea asserted that releasing it would be an “act of war.”

The studio is digitally altering thousands of buttons worn by characters in the movie – the buttons depict actual hardware worn by the country’s military used to honor leaders Kim Jong Un and his father, former leader Kim Jong Il. Putting the buttons in the movie is considered offensive to the country, THR reports.

The Interview, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, will now be released on December 25, after being pushed back from its original October release date.

The film is about “TV journalists recruited by the CIA to assassinate the North Korean despot.”

North Korea Asserts Release of James Franco & Seth Rogen's 'The Interview' is an 'Act of War'

North Korea is fighting back against the United States with regard to the upcoming Seth Rogen and James Franco movie The Interview, which centers around two journalists who plan to assassinate the leader of the country.

“Making and releasing a movie on a plot to hurt our top-level leadership is the most blatant act of terrorism and war and will absolutely not be tolerated,” a North Korea spokesperson said (via the BBC). “If the US administration allows and defends the showing of the film, a merciless counter-measure will be taken.”

North Korea has already spoken out against the film once before.
