On life at home with his wife Susan: “We just genuinely love hanging out…I defer to her. I just wasn’t raised right, so chances are, I’m gonna have some caca take on things.”

On being domestic: “I’m a little more the domestic type; I could just talk to you about the drapes and recovering those chairs. I love domestic maintenance; it just gets me off.”

On life after Iron Man: “The war for me is over. I personally have alighted to greener pastures.”

There’s a real life super villain afoot!

Robert Downey Jr.‘s original Iron Man suit from the 2008 movie has been stolen – and now police are investigating, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Los Angeles Police Department says that the suit was reported as missing on Tuesday (May 8), and that it had to have been taken sometime between February and April 25 of this year.

“It was reported by the storage facility that the prop was missing. It is considered a burglary,” an LAPD spokesperson told People.

The costume is valued at $325,000, and was worn in the original Iron Man film.

The official synopsis for the upcoming movie Captain America: Civil War has finally been revealed!

The plot was discovered on casting notices for extras in Atlanta, where the movie is reportedly going to start shooting on April 1.

Here is the synopsis: “Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. This polarizes opinion amongst the Avengers, causing two factions to side with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) or Captain America (Chris Evans), which causes an epic battle between former allies.”

Robert Downey Jr. decided to Google himself today and what he found is going to make some fans very happy!

The 49-year-old actor stumbled upon some fan fiction written about his Iron Man character Tony Stark and the Thor villain Loki.

Robert posted a photo on his Facebook account that features a photoshopped picture of himself going shirtless in a bondage situation while Tom Hiddleston as Loki is grabbing a hold of him from behind.

“HA! This is what happens when you google yourself, kids..” Robert said.

Robert Downey, Jr. is reportedly set to join the cast of Captain America 3 as his iconic character Tony Stark!

The 49-year-old actor is currently on the verge of signing onto the film, which is set for release on May 6, 2016.

According to Variety, the plot of the movie will see Tony Stark fighting with “Captain America’s alter-ego Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) as they feud over the Superhero Registration Act, which forces anyone with superhuman abilities to reveal their identities to the U.S. government and agree to act as a police force for the authorities. Stark supports the program, but Rogers does not, saying it threatens civil liberties, causing sides to be taken and Rogers, among others, to go on the run to avoid arrest. The moral question and battle with his Avengers teammate essentially makes Stark a villain of sorts.”

Robert hinted last week that his character Iron Man would be returning to the Marvel world though he basically said a fourth movie in his own franchise would not happen. He will reportedly earn around $40 million plus back-end participation for starring in Captain America 3.

Robert Downey Jr. wears two different outfits while entering and exiting the studio for an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday evening (October 7) in New York City.

The 49-year-old actor appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that same day and seemingly confirmed that an Iron Man 4 movie would happen, but then denied it during his night show appearance.

“There [are] no plans for an Iron Man 4,” Robert said. When asked why not, he said “that is a valid question. Like it hasn’t made enough money? Yeah, I guess they have too much money or something. There is no script for Iron Man 4, but I think there’s a plan.”

Later when asked again if the movie would happen he said, “just between us, no. But, I’m going to do other stuff with Marvel. I’m still going to be involved with Marvel and there’s going to be plenty of fun stuff to happen.”
