Isla Fisher glams up for the premiere of her new film The Great Gatsby on Wednesday evening (May 1) at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall in New York City.

The 37-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-star Tobey Maguire and his lovely wife Jennifer Meyer.

Earlier in the day, Isla wore a short white dress while making an appearance on Live! with Kelly and Michael.

FYI: Isla is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana dress and shoes, Fred Leighton jewelry, and a Roger Vivier bag with hair by Jen Atkin. Tobey and Jennifer are both wearing Saint Laurent.

Katy Perry keeps it dressy while attending the Gatsby Opening Cocktail Party on Tuesday (April 30) in New York City.

The 28-year-old entertainer was seen posing with The Great Gatsby actress Isla Fisher, Mia Moretti, and Florence Welch, who has a song on the film’s soundtrack with her band Florence + The Machine.

Earlier in the day, Katy was spotted hooking arms with her stylist Johnny Wujek in the Big Apple.

Robert Downey, Jr. poses for some pics as he arrives for a taping of Good Morning America on Monday (April 29) in New York City.

The 48-year-old actor went on the program to chat about Iron Man 3, which hits theaters on May 3.

“So much of what drove the success of the Iron Man franchise was our female audience, so I thought, we gotta get Gwyneth [Paltrow] in the [Iron Man] suit,” Robert said about his co-stars getting to wear the suits.

Also visiting the show that day was Tobey Maguire, who was there to promote The Great Gatsby. The next day, Tobey‘s co-star Isla Fisher also dropped by!

Isla Fisher hits the red carpet at the release party for her cover of Gotham magazine‘s May 2013 issue on Friday (April 26) at The London Hotel in New York City.

Here is what the 37-year-old Great Gatsby actress had to share with the mag:

On if she will ever work with hubby Sacha Baron Cohen: “Personally, I think we collaborate on enough behind closed doors. We’re working on some really important collaborations, and I think that’s more important. Obviously, I’m a big fan of his. My favorite movie will always be Bruno, and my favorite line will always be when he looks up at the sky and goes, ‘So many stars in the sky. Makes you think of all the hot guys in the world.’ So freaking random and funny.”

On taking a career break to have kids: “I took three years off. It’s not like you’re taking a break and looking on IMDbPro to see your StarMeter falling. You’re doing the most important, incredible thing. When you come back in, the perspective has changed. I truly believe you can’t have it all and you shouldn’t want to.”

On filming Gatsby near where she grew up in Australia: “It was thrilling and terrifying. Given the caliber of the director and cast on Gatsby, I definitely felt out of my comfort zone. I did feel like I was going to be called out and sent home at some point—you always feel very insecure, at least I do. But I got to eat Vegemite toast for breakfast and swim on Bondi Beach.”

Hailee Steinfeld and Isla Fisher hit the red carpet during the 2013 CinemaCon panel for Lionsgate on Thursday (April 18) at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nev.

The ladies were joined by Hailee‘s Ender’s Game co-stars Asa Butterfield and Harrison Ford, as well as Isla‘s Now You See Me co-star Morgan Freeman to present new footage from their films.

Later that evening, the group glammed up for the 2013 CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards.

Hailee won the Female Star of Tomorrow Award, Asa received the Rising Star of 2013 Award, Harrison was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Morgan was honored with the Cinema Icon Award.

Also pictured: Isla arriving at LAX Airport that morning in Los Angeles to catch her flight to Vegas.

Here’s what the 37-year-old The Great Gatsby actress had to share with the mag:

On what she and her husband Sacha Baron Cohen find funny: “Subverting the truth is the funniest thing of all. We laugh about that all the time. It works best when you hit at something that is happening in the world and represent it in a surprising way. Lena Dunham is brilliant at it.”

On meeting her idol Goldie Hawn: “Goldie Hawn is my hero, I just think she is incredibly funny and I love her in every movie. I can’t help it. I just think she is fabulous.. It wasn’t a conversation, it was on a dance floor and she was dancing next to me so I saddled up to her doing some moves pretending it was just a natural progression in my dance moves and I kind of shimmied my shoulders at her for a smile and then shimmied away.”

On working with family: “I recently wrote a script with my mom—a thriller—just for fun because I enjoy writing so much. It has involved a lot of gin and tonic, a lot of giggling, a lot of late night emailing back and forth. I highly recommend actually doing something creative with a family member. When you get to know someone creatively you get to know a whole other side to them.”
