Jaden Smith is setting the record straight on his relationship with Sofia Richie.

The 22-year-old entertainer was seen at the beach with Sofia, also 22, over the holiday weekend, sparking rumors that the two could be more than friends after being seen getting very flirty with each other.

“They spent the afternoon playing on the beach together with friends. But Sofia and Jaden only had eyes for each other,” an E! News source shared about the sighting at the time. “They swam in the water together and wrapped their arms around each other. They held hands as they went in and out of the water and then they pulled each other in for a hug.”

“You know, I actually don’t look at the internet, so I didn’t see that,” Jaden shared of the stories that had been written about the two with On-Air With Ryan Seacrest. “Me and Sofia have been friends for like 10 years.”

He added that “we’ve been going to the beach pretty consistently for 10 years too. Yeah, we’re just homies and we love each other and it was fun.”

So, it looks like Jaden and Sofia are still just friends.

Sparks appear to be flying between Sofia Richie and Jaden Smith!

Sofia and Jaden, both 22, spent the day at the beach with a few friends on Saturday (September 5) in Malibu, Calif.

For their outing, Sofia donned a pink, floral-print bikini while Jaden sported a matching coordinating pink bathing suit, as seen in photos obtained by The Daily Mail.

“They spent the afternoon playing on the beach together with friends. But Sofia and Jaden only had eyes for each other,” a source shared with E! News. “They swam in the water together and wrapped their arms around each other. They held hands as they went in and out of the water and then they pulled each other in for a hug.”

“They were smiling at each other and very flirty the entire day. They seemed comfortable together,” the source added.

After their outing at the beach, Sofia, Jaden, and their friends continued their day of fun by grabbing dinner at Nobu.

“They stayed for several hours and left together in a Sprinter van. Sofia was in a great mood and never stopped smiling,” the source shared. “She seems to be having a lot of fun and is very happy. She and Jaden went back to a friend’s house for the night.”

Sofia‘s day with Jaden comes after she and on/off boyfriend Scott Disick broke up “for good” in July.

If you didn’t know, Sofia and Jaden dated back in 2012 when they were both 14-years-old. They ended their relationship in early 2013.

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are winners!

The singers won the award for Best Collaboration for their song “Rain on Me” at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards, which aired on Sunday (August 30).

Gaga accepted the award from presenter Jaden Smith, while showing off her second look of the night. Gaga stayed safe in a pink gas mask while wearing a multi-color, spiky outfit.

“”This is for us… we turned our tears that felt like endless rainfall, into Diamonds,” Gaga said while accepting the award.

Later during the show, Gaga and Ariana will be performing “Rain On Me” live for the first time ever.

The 23-year-old beauty mogul stepped out to celebrate pal Justine Skye‘s birthday with alongside her sister, Kendall Jenner, and a few other friends including Jaden Smith, and Justin and Hailey Bieber.

The close-knit group of friends hung out at a restaurant for the private party, after a weekend full of other activities.

Just the day before, Justin and Hailey were seen hanging out with Kendall on the beach for a relaxing weekend.

Justin and Hailey also got to meet their new niece, Iris Aronow, for the very first time.

Jaden Smith is back with a brand new music video!

Following the premiere of his new single, Jaden just dropped the accompanying music video for “Cabin Fever” on Thursday (July 30).

The music video, which features a quarantine love story and flows between summer scenes of blockbuster movies and popular music videos from throughout the decade, was directed by Wavy Baby - AKA Jaden Smith!

Jaden and his group of friends also make cameos by living in what seems to be their own version of a trippy summer. The video can currently be seen on MTV Live, mtvU, MTV International and the Viacom Times Square billboards.

“’Cabin Fever’ is my vision of a quarantine love song. It’s made to be listened to when the sun is setting and you’re feeling good,” Jaden explains of the track.

Jaden released his second album, ERYS, in July of 2019.

The 22-year-old entertainer dropped his new track, “Cabin Fever,” on Thursday (July 23).

The song was written by Jaden, and produced by BURNS.

“’Cabin Fever; is my vision of a quarantine love song. It’s made to be listened to when the sun is setting and you’re feeling good,” Jaden explains of the track.

Jaden’s collaboration with New Balance also drops this Friday (July 24). The ambassador teamed up with the footwear brand to debut the vegan and eco-friendly ‘Vision Racer’ shoe that will be available in “Wavy Baby Blue.”

The Smith siblings are enjoying a night out in Malibu!

The 22-year-old actor/rapper looked super cool in an electric, blue suit as he joined the 19-year-old singer and her boyfriend Tyler Cole for a sushi dinner at the celeb hotspot.

This is the second time this week Jaden had dinner at Nobu. A few nights before, Jaden grabbed dinner with a few friends including Moises Arias.

If you didn’t know, Willow and Tyler have been dating for a few years now. The first time we saw photos of them together was back in September 2016.

During a recent episode of Red Table Talk, Willow talked about how cancel culture “doesn’t lead to any learning.”
