Jake Paul Out of State During Search Warrant, Armored Trucks Arrived at His House

Jake Paul was not home during this morning’s FBI search.

Following the news that the 23-year -old YouTuber’s L.A.-area home was being searched by authorities on Wednesday (August 5), new details have surfaced regarding the situation, via TMZ.

Jake‘s attorney, Richard Schonfeld issued a statement to the outlet: “We understand that a search warrant was executed at Jake‘s Calabasas home this morning while Jake was out-of-state. We are still gathering information and will cooperate with the investigation.”

The investigation required an impressive amount of force: “a small militia left his pad in armored trucks…it looks like a mini military parade, with several guys wearing SWAT and/or tactical gear hanging off the sides…in addition to whoever was inside. By our count, there seems to have been at least 20 people or so on the ground executing the search warrant — which makes ya wonder what the hell Jake might be mixed up in, if anything at all,” TMZ reported of the scene.

There’s no confirmation if arrests were made or if any property or evidence was seized. Find out more about the ongoing situation…

He continued: “But I personally am not the type of person who’s gonna sit around and not live my life.”

A week later, Jake‘s ex Tana Mongeau attended another party filled with TikTok stars and YouTubers. She then issued an apology for partying during the pandemic, saying it was “careless and irresponsible.”

Jake Paul Denies Being Part of Looting or Vandalism Amid Protests

Jake Paul is making it clear that he was not looting.

The 23-year-old YouTuber, who is under fire online for being at a mall in Arizona while looting was taking place, penned a message on Sunday (May 31) denying that he was involved, and insisting he was part of the peaceful Black Lives Matter protesting amid the outcry over George Floyd‘s murder.

“To be clear, neither I nor anyone in our group was engaged in any looting or vandalism. For context, we spent the day doing our part to peacefully protest one of the most horrific injustices our country has ever seen, which led to us being tear-gassed for filming the events and brutality that were unfolding in Arizona,” he wrote.

“We were gassed and forced to keep moving on foot. We filmed everything we saw in an effort to share our experience and bring more attention to teh anger felt in every neighborhood we traveled through; we were strictly documenting, not engaged. I do not condone violence, looting, or breaking the law; however, I understand the anger and frustration that led to the destruction we witnessed and while that’s not the answer, it’s important that people see it and collectively figure out how to move forward in a healthy way. We are all doing the best we can to be helpful and raise awareness; this is not the time to attack each other, it’s time to join together and evolve.”
