Jamie Bell and James McAvoy hang out between takes while filming their movie Filth on Monday (January 23) in Glasgow, Scotland.

Jamie, 25, and James, 32, portray police partners in the film. James plays a bipolar bigoted junkie cop, and Jamie plays his sidekick younger cop. The film is set for a 2012 release date.

January Jones and Zoe Kravitz steam up the screen in these stills from X-Men: First Class, in theaters June 3!

James McAvoy recently dished to USA Today about how he made Professor Xavier his own character.

“You give him an ego. You give him a sex drive. You make him a little more selfish. You give him a sense of humor,” James said. “You don’t make him wise.”

Michael Fassbender said that it was important to him to form a good relationship with James for the movie.

“In this film, a lot depends on their relationship. It was very important for us to get the beat to that relationship right so when it finally does fracture, there’s a sense of tragedy,” he said.

Rose Byrne and her co-star James McAvoy attend the premiere of their new film X-Men: First Class held at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Wednesday (May 25) in New York City.

Later that evening, James, 32, sat down for an interview at the Times Talks session held at the New York Times Center.

Rose, 31, already has a hit at the box office with her film Bridesmaids still earning big bucks going into its third week.

It was also just announced that Rose‘s television series Damages will return for its fourth season on July 13!

FYI: Rose is wearing a Marc Jacobs dress from the Fall 2011 collection, Brian Atwood shoes, Cartier jewelry, and a Kotur clutch.

Here’s the synopsis: “In 1963, Charles Xavier (McAvoy) starts up a school and later a team, for humans with superhuman abilities. Among them is Erik Lensherr (Fassbender), his best friend… and future archenemy.”

X-Men: First Class is directed by Matthew Vaughn and produced by Bryan Singer. The film will hit the big screen on June 3.

Zoe Kravitz steps out for the X-Men: First Class photocall on Monday (May 23) at The Dorchester Hotel in London, England.

The 22-year-old actress paired her Topshop top with a Matthew Williamson skirt, Twenty8Twelve jacket, and Topshop wedges.

Also attending the photocall: Zoe‘s co-star and real-life boyfriend Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Kevin Bacon, Jason Flemyng, Alex Gonzales, and screenwriter Jane Goldman.

Alexis Bledel sparkles in an Oscar de la Renta dress at the premiere of The Conspirator on Monday (April 11) at NYC’s Museum of Modern Art.

The 29-year-old actress accessorized with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, a Cecelia clutch, and Piaget jewelry.

Alexis‘s co-stars, James McAvoy and Robin Wright, also came out to support the drama at the premiere sponsored by Piaget, Leblon, and Wall Street Journal.

Earlier in the day, Alexis and James were spotted at Washington, D.C.’s Union Station to catch a train to NYC after premiering the film in the nation’s capital.
