The men of Django Unchained – Samuel L. Jackson, director Quentin Tarantino, Jamie Foxx, and Christoph Waltz – land their spot on GQ‘s Men of the Year list!

“Quentin‘s movies are grand cinematic opera,” Christoph said about the director’s style. “Slavery in this case would be the great dilemma, and the great dilemma of the hero is: To avenge or not to avenge?”

Make sure to check out Django Unchained when it hits theaters on December 25.

Jamie Foxx is set to host the December 8 episode of Saturday Night Live!

The 44-year-old actor will appear to promote his new film Django Unchained, which hits theaters on Christmas Day. He will be joined on the show by musical guest Ne-Yo. The pair previously performed together at the 2009 BET Awards.

Ben Affleck and James Marsden suit up as they attend the 2012 GQ Men of the Year Party held at the Chateau Marmont on Tuesday (November 13) in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old actor and James, 39, were joined at the event by Armie Hammer, his wife Elizabeth Chambers, Jamie Foxx, Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul, James’ Bachelorette co-star Lizzy Caplan, and Adam Brody.

Adam Sandler hits the stage at Spike TV’s Eddie Murphy: One Night Only television special held at the Saban Theatre on Saturday (November 3) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 46-year-old actor was joined at the event by Russell Brand and Jamie Foxx, who both spoke on stage during the TV feature.

Also at the ceremony was a shirtless Tracy Morgan, Samuel L. Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Anika Noni Rose, Wayne Brady, The Office‘s Craig Robinson, and Eddie Murphy himself!

Here’s a synopsis of the Quentin Tarantino flick: Django (Foxx) is a slave living in the Deep South after having been separated from his wife Broomhilda (Washington). When Django is held for a slave auction, Dr. King Schultz (Waltz), a bounty hunter, frees Django from his vicious masters, the Speck brothers (James Remar and James Russo), and gives him the option of hunting down and killing the Brittle Brothers, a ruthless gang of killers whom only Django has seen. In return, Schultz will free Django from slavery completely and help rescue Broomhilda from the plantation of the charming but ruthless Francophile owner, Calvin Candie (DiCaprio).

The film follows Django, a slave (Foxx) whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.

Django Unchained, which also stars Kerry Washington and Jonah Hill, opens on December 25.
