Jamie Sangouthai‘s autopsy reports are back and he did not die of an apparent heroin overdose as previously reported.
The 37-year-old best friend of basketball player Lamar Odom passed away as a result of Necrotizing Fasciitis, a bacterial skin infection, in addition to IV drug abuse, according to TMZ.
Jamie went to the hospital to get the infection in his arm checked out, but it reportedly already spread throughout his body.
Lamar‘s ex Khloe Kardashian, who knew Jamie well as he often appeared on their show Khloe & Lamar, took to social media to mourn the loss of their friend.
“Life doesn’t get easier but I promise you that life will make you stronger. �’�,” she recently wrote.
