'Jane the Virgin,' 'Crazy Ex Girlfriend, & 'iZombie' Will End After New Seasons

No! The CW just made a sad announcement!

Three of their shows – Jane the Virgin, iZombie, and Crazy Ex Girlfriend – will all end after this season.

Jane the Virgin and iZombie will both end after their respective five season runs, with Crazy Ex Girlfriend set to end after its fourth season.

The CW is planning to have it’s annual Upfront presentation later today, where more news will surely be revealed. Stay tuned as we find out more.

Gina Rodriguez Hints That 'Jane the Virgin' Will End After Season 5

Looks like we better start getting ready to say goodbye to Jane the Virgin. The show’s star Gina Rodriguez has hinted that the show will be ending after the upcoming fifth season.

Gina spoke out during the Women to Watch panel from Create & Cultivate and Fossil this weekend in Texas, where she opened up about getting to direct a season four episode.

“When it came to directing Jane, as the star of the show — as a woman, as Latina, I was like, ‘I need to come so correct that I cannot be denied,’” Gina said (via Variety).

Gina also added that she plans to “do more [directing] next year — in our final season.”

The CW has not yet confirmed if the fifth season is the end.

A character was killed off of Jane the Virgin‘s Monday (February 6) episode, and now, the cast is reacting to the departure of Michael (played by Brett Dier).

“You are my partner in artistic crime. We did two plus seasons together and I will never have the words to express how you changed my life. Thank you @brettdier #teamMichaelForever #janethevirgin #DreamComeTrueActingPartner,” Gina Rodriguez wrote on her Instagram after the episode aired on The CW.

The CW Renews 'Jane The Virgin,' 'Supergirl,' 'Supernatural' & Four More Series!

The CW Network just picked seven of its shows for another season.

Jane the Virgin, Arrow, The Flash, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Supernatural are all renewed.

“Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our lineup of DC superheroes, to critically acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas,” Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW, said in a statement. “Early pickups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, and gives us a solid base to build on for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”

There’s not word on The 100, iZombie, Frequency, No Tomorrow, The Originals, or Riverdale yet.

As previously announced, The Vampire Diaries and Reign will both come to an end this year.

The scene is for “Chapter Forty-Nine,” which is set to air on November 14.

Here is the episode synopsis: “Jane (Gina Rodriguez) convinces Alba (Ivonne Coll) to let her read the letters from her estranged sister, but under the condition Jane doesn’t reach out to her family. Rafael (Baldoni) is starting to suspect that something is different with Petra (Yael Grobglas). Meanwhile, Michael (Brett Dier) and Rafael, with the help of Jane and Rogelio (Jaime Camil), try to create a civil friendship, but it doesn’t go as smoothly as everyone hoped.”

Eva Longoria Directs Gina Rodriguez in 'Jane the Virgin' Season 3!

Eva Longoria looks ready to work as she arrives on set on Wednesday afternoon (August 31) in Los Angeles.

The 41-year-old actor and director will be directing an upcoming episode of the third season of Jane the Virgin.

Eva was spotted giving direction and tips to the the cast including Gina Rodriguez, Brett Dier, and Jaime Camil as they filmed in a neighborhood on Wednesday.

Later in the day, Eva looked proud as she laughed at a playback of one of the scenes she directed.

Jane the Virgin is set to premiere Monday, October 17 at 9|8c, on The CW.
