Jared Leto lets his hair down as he takes a stroll with a gal pal on Saturday afternoon (May 11) in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City.

The day before, the 41-year-old musician was spotted making his way out of a building in Toronto, Canada.

“I’m headed to 14th street / union square w/ my guitar. Come find me! #freeshow #MARSisComing,” he tweeted.

Jared‘s band Thirty Seconds To Mars is currently promoting their upcoming album Love Lust Faith + Dreams, which drops May 21st!

The band, consisting of members Jared Leto, Shannon Leto, and Tomo Miličević, also featured in their video a routine by US Olympian Jordyn Wieber, and animals including a lion, a zebra, a wolf, and a python.

Julianne Hough, Jared Leto, and Solange Knowles walk around the grounds on the final day of weekend one at the 2013 Coachella Music Festival on Sunday (April 14) in Indio, Calif.

Alexander Skarsgard grabs a handful of beverages while enjoying the festivities at the 2013 Coachella Music Festival on Friday (April 12) in Indio, Calif.

The 36-year-old Swedish actor was seen chatting with a gal pal at the music festival.

The band – Jared Leto, Shannon Leto, and Tomo Milicevic – released the song off of their upcoming album Love Lust Faith + Dreams, due out in stores on May 21!

Jared Leto hits the red carpet at the premiere of his documentary Artifact held at the Paramount Theater during the 2013 SXSW Film Festival on Wednesday (March 13) in Austin, Tex.

The 41-year-old actor then attended the Samsung Q&A and after party for the documentary, which is about his band 30 Seconds to Mars‘ legal battle with music label EMI.

Jared also opened up about losing about 30 pounds for his role in Dallas Buyers Club.

“I got down to 116 or something,” Jared revealed. “I just basically didn’t eat. I ate very little. I had done similar things with weight, but this was different. I think the role demanded that commitment…It was about how does that effect how I walk, how I talked, who I am, how I feel. You know, you feel very fragile and delicate and unsafe.”
