Jason Alexander Loses 30 Pounds on Jenny Craig

Jason Alexander has trimmed 30 pounds off his figure!

The 50-year-old actor, who was named Jenny Craig’s newest spokesman in January, shot a new ad with Valerie Bertinelli to celebrate his success.

Jason Alexander: Jenny Craig's Newest Spokesperson!

Jason Alexander is the newest spokesperson for weight loss company Jenny Craig!

Here’s what the 50-year-old Seinfeld actor and master of his domain had to share with People:

On why the partnership works: “It’s like someone’s clubbing me over the head it’s so obvious I should be doing this. It was a deadly combination of I’m fat and they work.”

On why he decided to join: “I just got to a point where when I would look at the Seinfeld reunion stuff or one of these other projects that I had done, I said, ‘I don’t like the way that guy looks. That guy is not attractive in any way, shape or form to me.”

On being a part of a largely female program: “It’s hard for me to think of the Jenny Craig program – or any weight loss program – as a female thing. I’m trying not only to do it for myself but I’m encouraging other guys to come on board and say we can do this. This will work for us, and we can do this and deal with the problem.”

Best of luck to Jason, who is hoping to lose 30 to 40 pounds on the program.

Seinfeld Cast Covers Entertainment Weekly

The cast reunion of Seinfeld takes the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly with Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), George (Jason Alexander), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and Kramer (Michael Richards).

They join old pal Larry David (and Seinfeld co-creator) for the new season of HBO’s cult hit Curb Your Enthusiasm.

“It’s the anti-reunion reunion,” says Julia, “and I’d like to copyright that.” Sums up Larry: “This is such a perfect way for us to get together again, because it never would have happened otherwise. Never, ever, ever.”

The 7th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm returns on Sunday, September 20th on HBO. The Seinfeld storyline starts with episode 3.
