Bethenny Frankel is revealing something surprising about her ex-marriage.
The 52-year-old The Real Housewives of New York City star claims on her Just B podcast that it was Andy Cohen who told her to marry ex-husband Jason Hoppy, which she called the “worst idea in history.”

Bethenny Frankel made a startling confession in a new interview – she’s still married to Jason Hoppy!
The former Real Housewives of New York star shared the big news with Andy Cohen in an interview this week on Watch What Happens Live.
Andy had asked Bethanny if she and current boyfriend, Paul Bernon, were talking marriage and that’s when she dropped the bombshell.
“I’m still married,” she replied, referring to her estranged husband Jason.
Bethanny didn’t explain anything further about her current relationship with the businessman, who she shares daughter, Bryn, with.
“Crickets again! And scene, and we’re back. And we’re walking.”
Bethanny and Jason were married in 2010 and split at the end of 2012. She filed for divorce the following year from him and in 2017, he was arrested after consistently stalking and threatening her.
Just last year, Bethanny left RHONY after three seasons on the show. She originally starred on the show’s first three seasons.
Bethenny Frankel‘s ex husband Jason Hoppy was arrested last week after some scary incidents.
“Jason Hoppy, a 45 year old male, was arrested on Friday, January 27, at his residence,” the NYPD said (via Us Weekly). He called his ex “numerous times via email and FaceTime, and approached victim making verbal threats.”
“The complainant said Hoppy had sent numerous emails and FaceTime calls numbering in the hundreds after a cease and desist letter was sent on November 22, 2016,” the NYPD added. “On Friday, January 27, the suspect approached her and a friend at her child’s school at around 8:15 a.m. and tried to provoke a fight. He said, ‘I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned.’”
Jason was reportedly arrested for harassment in the first degree and stalking in the fourth degree.
“There are no words to express how saddened Mr. Hoppy is over his ex-wife’s unjustified actions. His only concern is his daughter and intends to vigorously fight these false charges. We fully intend to do our talking in the courtroom,” Jason’s lawyer in a statement.
Bethenny Frankel and her husband Jason Hoppy have called it quits, JustJared.com can confirm.
“It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating. This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family,” the 42-year-old reality television personality said in a statement.
“We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter [Bryn] who is and will always remain our first priority,” Bethenny continued. “This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.”
“I am heartbroken. I am sad. We will work through this as a family.” she tweeted earlier in the day.
Bethenny and Jason were together for two years.
