Jay Electronica‘s debut album A Written Testimony is out now, and you can listen to it right here!
The 43-year-old rapper’s project, released on Friday (March 13), features Jay-Z, James Blake, Travis Scott, Khruangbin, The-Dream, and more.
Jay Electronica’s last official release was his 2007 mixtape Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge). He also teamed up with Justin Bieber on Poo Bear‘s track “Hard 2 Face Reality.”

Justin Bieber and Jay Electronica teamed up on Poo Bear‘s new track “Hard 2 Face Reality!”
The 24-year-old “Sorry” singer and the 41-year-old rapper are both featured on the song from Poo Bear‘s debut album Poo Bear Presents: Bearthday Music.
Poo Bear and Justin started writing the song – marking Justin‘s first of 2018 – three years ago in Toronto, Canada.
“It was a time when the media and a lot of people were going in on Justin, being really cruel, making up false information,” Poo Bear told Rolling Stone. “We were in that place. We revisited it maybe five months ago – finished it, changed the beat a little bit.”
The album, set for release on April 27, also includes collaborations with Ty Dolla Sign, J Balvin, Juanes, Jennifer Lopez, Zara Larsson, and more.

Rapper Jay Electronica is the latest artist to join Jay-Z‘s music label Roc Nation, JustJared.com can confirm.
Jay-Z made the announcement at a secret show held at NYC hotspot The Box on Friday (November 12), which was also attended by his wife Beyonce and R&B artist Omarion.
“He’s an official Roc Nation signee,” Jay-Z yelled as he did his introduction. “Make some noise!!!”
Jay Electronica (real name Timothy Elpadaro Thedford), 34, is best known for his critically-acclaimed track “Exhibit C,” which was released in late 2009.
He also welcomed a daughter early last year with singer Erykah Badu. The two tweeted about the birth in real-time!
