Queen Latifah, Cynthia Erivo & Ava DuVernay Celebrate Black Girls Rock 2018!

Queen Latifah, Cynthia Erivo and Ava DuVernay hit the red carpet in style while attending the 2018 Black Girls Rock! held at NJPAC on Sunday (August 26) in Newark, New Jersey.

The three ladies were joined at the event by Lena Waithe, Naturi Naughton, Misty Copeland, Angela Simmons, Lil Mama, Lloyd, Jazmine Sullivan and Seven Streeter.

Lena, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson and Judith Jamison were also honored during the ceremony, which included a tribute to Aretha Franklin.

The show was hosted by Queen Latifah, and will air on BET on September 9.

FYI: Queen is wearing Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira jewels. Cynthia is wearing a Sally LaPointe dress, Jenny Bird earrings and Jimmy Choo shoes. Ava is wearing a Michael Kors Collection dress. Misty is wearing Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Soul Train Awards 2017 Nominations - Full List of Soul Train Award Nominees!

The 2017 Soul Train Awards are set to air on November 26, and we have the full list of nominees!

The annual celebration, which recognizes the best in soul, R&B and hip-hop, will be filmed on November 5 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

Solange Knowles leads the pack with seven nominations, including Best R&B/Soul Female Artist, Video of the Year and Song of the Year with “Cranes in the Sky.”

Toni Braxton will receive the Don Cornelius Legend Award during the ceremony, while SWV will receive the Lady of Soul Award.

BET Presents: 2017 Soul Train Awards will air on BET and BET HER on November 26 at 8 pm EST.

Kelly Rowland, Nelly Furtado and Missy Elliott are all smiles on the pink carpet while attending the 2016 VH1 Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens held at the David Geffen Hall on Monday (July 11) in New York City.

The three ladies were joined at the event by Fantasia Barrino, Monica, Ashanti, Jazmine Sullivan, Lil’ Kim, Salt-N-Pepa, Fat Joe, Lil Mama, Keyshia Cole, Coco and Ice T, Teyana Taylor, Timbaland and LL Cool J.
