Kerry Washington gets all decked out in her uniform on the set of her upcoming Netflix movie, Six Triple Eight.

The 45-year-old actress was spotted on the set with writer/director Tyler Perry, as well as co-stars Milauna Jackson, Jeante Godlock, Sarah Jeffery, Shanice Shantay and many others.

Together, the large group of actors and extras filmed at the Duxford Military Museum based in Cambridgeshire, England late last week.

Jeante was even spotted filming a video of her look on her phone during some downtime on set.

Based on the article by Kevin M. Hymel, the movie will center on the only all-Black, all-female World War II Battalion.

The battalion consisted of “855 women joined the war effort with little knowledge of what exactly they would be doing, but were quickly given the mission of a lifetime: sorting through and fixing a three-year backlog of undelivered mail.”

Netflix’s Daybreak has been canceled after just one season.

Co-creator Aron Coleite made the announcement on Twitter on Monday (December 16).

The statement reads: “We learned last week that Daybreak will not be returning for a second season. We’re so sorry we couldn’t share it with you sooner but also grateful that we got to hang out in these last few live tweet sessions with all of you. Thank you for picking up what we put down, for running with it in all of your amazing, weird, monstrous ways and for being such an important part of this show and our experience making it.”

“No one is as heartbroken as we are that we can’t share more of this ride with you,” the statement continues. “But we’re so grateful to have gotten to bring it this far.”

The black comedy series starred Colin Ford, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute, Cody Kearsley, Jeante Godlock, Gregory Kasyan, Krysta Rodriguez, and Matthew Broderick.

Based on a comic book series of the same name by Brian Ralph, Daybreak told the story of high school outcast Josh as he searches for his missing girlfriend in post apocalyptic Glendale. He’s joined by a group of misfits Angelica and his former bully Wesley.

It premiered on October 24 on Netflix.

Daybreak is a new series coming to Netflix later this month and the first trailer has arrived!

Here is the official synopsis: High school isn’t the end of the world… until it is. In this post-apocalyptic, genre-bending series, the city of Glendale, California is populated by marauding gangs of jocks, gamers, the 4-H Club, and other fearsome tribes who are kicking ass as they fight to survive in the wake of a nuclear blast (on the night of Homecoming…ugh). Following an eclectic group of survivors as they navigate this strange and treacherous world, Daybreak is part samurai saga, part endearing coming-of-age story, and part Battle Royale.

The new series stars Matthew Broderick, Krysta Rodriguez, Colin Ford, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Cody Kearsley, Jeante Godlock, and Gregory Kasyan.

The co-stars were joined by their cast mates Sophie Simnett, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Jeanté Godlock, Gregory Kasyan, Krysta Rodriguez, and Austin Crute to debut the first episode in the series.

The cast also premiered the official trailer for the audience before it’s release on Monday (October 7).

The new show takes place in a post-apocalyptic Glendale, Calif. where a groups of teenagers must fight to survive after a societal collapse. After a nuclear blast transforms all adults into zombies, teens from the local high school band together. Amid the chaos, one teenage outcast searches for his lost love.

Daybreak premieres on October 24th on Netflix!
