Orange Is the New Black has been renewed for not just one more season, not two, but three additional seasons!

The Netflix series has been renewed through season seven, the streaming service announced months before the premiere of season four.

“Jenji [Kohan] and her team have produced a phenomenal and impactful series that is both funny and dramatic, outrageous and heartfelt. Audiences around the world have come to love the ladies and men of Orange is the New Black, and we are eager to see where three more seasons will take them,” Netflix’s vp, original content, Cindy Holland, said in a statement (via THR).

“Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things,” Jenji said in a statement. “In some cultures, ‘May you lead an interesting life,’ is a curse, but I don’t live in those cultures. Here’s to keeping it interesting. Thanks Netflix! Both thanks and you’re welcome Lionsgate! And kudos and gratitude to the stellar cast and crew and writers and producers and editors and musicians and mixers and shleppers… with whom I have the pride and honor of crafting this show. Three more years! Three more years!”

Taylor Schilling, Uzo Aduba, and Danielle Brooks hit the red carpet at the premiere of the second season of Orange Is the New Black on Thursday evening (May 15) at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City.

The ladies were joined by co-stars Laura Prepon, Natasha Lyonne, Jason Biggs, Taryn Manning, Matt McGorry, Madeline Brewer, Dascha Polanco, Laverne Cox, Lea DeLaria, Samira Wiley, series creator Jenji Kohan, and more!

The second season will debut on Netflix on June 6.

Laverne Cox looks glamorous on the red carpet while attending the 2014 Time 100 Gala held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Tuesday evening (April 29) in New York City.

Taylor Schilling attends a screening of her new Netflix original series Orange is the New Black on Monday (June 17) at 41 Ocean in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 28-year-old actress stars in the series about a woman who is sent to prison as a result of her relationship with a drug smuggler. All episodes of Orange is the New Black will be released on Netflix on July 11!
