Casting for the fifth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, titled Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, is underway and there are many young actresses in contention for a female leading role!
The Maze Runner‘s Kaya Scodelario, Endless Love‘s Gabriella Wilde, French actress Jenna Thiam, The Musketeers‘ Alexandra Dowling, and Miss Potter‘s Lucy Boynton are all up for an unidentified role and will do a screen test in the next few days, Variety reports.
The female lead will likely be the love interest of Brenton Thwaites, who recently landed the role of a British soldier who teams up with Johnny Depp‘s Jack Sparrow. Javier Bardem is set to play the film’s villain. The film is set for release on July 7, 2017.
