The Book of Mormon stars Andrew Rannells, Rory O’Malley, and Nikki M. James hold onto some adorable dogs up for adoption at the 13th Annual Broadway Barks held in Shubert Alley on Saturday (July 9) in New York City.

Broadway Barks was started by veteran actresses Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore to promote the adoption of shelter animals.

Also in attendance at the annual event: Spider-Man: Turn of the Dark‘s Reeve Carney and Jennifer Damiano, as well as Catch Me If You Can star Aaron Tveit.

The Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark co-stars will be performing during the show tonight even though their musical will not be eligible for awards until next year.

Spider-Man pushed back its opening night to June 15 in order to make changes to the production and missed the eligibility cut-off date for this year’s awards.

Jennifer is no stranger to the Tony Awards as she was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for Next to Normal in 2009!

FYI: Reeve is wearing a rag & bone three button Greenfield tuxedo, multi-pin hidden placket shirt, and grey stripe bow tie.

Reeve Carney poses with Spider-Man at the Syfy 2011 Upfront on Tuesday (March 22) at the Foxwoods Theater in NYC.

The 27-year-old Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark actor was joined by his co-stars Jennifer Damiano and Patrick Page at the event.

Last week, Reeve and his brother and bandmate Zane stopped by Fuse Studios to host Fuse’s Top 20 Countdown.

“Just got told that I look like James Dean, by the cashier at Shake Shack. Sweet! Ha,” Reeve recently tweeted.

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark dancer Christopher Tierney returns to the show as an audience member for the first time since his now famous fall on Friday (January 7) in New York.

Christopher fell from a platform 30 feet off the ground during a performance of the show on December 20th, sustaining a fracture in his skull, four broken ribs, a bruised lung, a broken scapula, three fractured vertebrae and a broken bone close to his elbow.

It is expected that Christopher will be able to return to the show in two to three months, which he is incredibly optimistic about.

Also pictured inside: Spider-Man stars Reeve Carney and Jennifer Damiano congratulating T.V. Carpio after her first official performance as villain Arachne. T.V. replaces Natalie Mendoza, who left the show after suffering a concussion a few weeks ago.

Adam Lambert visits Reeve Carney, aka Peter Parker, backstage after a performance of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark on Friday (December 10) at NY’s Foxwoods Theatre.

The 28-year-old singer also met up with Jennifer Damiano, who plays Mary Jane Watson in the musical.

Jen was a member of the original cast of Spring Awakening alongside Glee‘s Lea Michele!

The next night, Adam chatted with Just Jared backstage at the Y100 Jingle Ball 2010 in Miami!
