Zoe Saldana opens up with a group of girlfriends in a new video to discuss overcoming sexism and negativity towards in the workplace.

The 38-year-old actress was joined by her sisters Mariel and Cisely, who she co-founded production company Cinestar Pictures with, as well as actress Shanna Malcolm, The Art of Elysium founder Jennifer Howell and Awestruck vlogger Roxy Limon as the ladies touched on some important topics.

“As women, we have to learn to feel extremely comfortable with the word ‘no.’ The word ‘no’ is the most positive term we will ever know as a woman because the moment you wake up as a woman…you’re going to deal with so many more obstacles than man will deal with on an average basis. So if you’re not comfortable with the word ‘no’ you’re going to become a very unhappy individual,” Zoe explains.

She added, “It took me many years, in my profession, to learn to say ‘no’ not based on privilege, based on principle.”

Camilla Belle looks chic in a blazer and leather pants while attending The Art of Elysium’s 9th Annual Pieces of Heaven Event on Thursday night (April 28) at Siren Studios in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old actress was joined at the event by her friend, musician ZZ Ward.

Rose McGowan is white hot at the 2012 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala held at Union Station on Saturday (January 14) in Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old actress, who met up with AOE founder Jennifer Howell and Relativity Media boss Ryan Kavanaugh on the red carpet, wore a Temperley London gown, Neil Lane cuff and ring, Gucci shoes, and Judith Leiber clutch.

Glee‘s Matthew Morrison brought along his girlfriend Renee Puente while Kelly Osbourne mingled with Elijah Wood, who picked up the 2012 “The Spirit of Elysium” Award.

Elijah shared, “I am constantly inspired by the work of The Art of Elysium and how they use the transportive power of art to heal and inspire children; elevating them beyond the confines of their pain and discomfort to engage them in creativity and beauty.”

He continued, “It has enriched my life to be part of this tirelessly dedicated family and the lives of the children they’ve transformed. Such a simple concept – to engage hospitalized children in all forms of art and the extraordinary experience of its power.”
