Jennifer Hudson takes the stage to sing the song from the film that won her an Oscar back in 2007 at the 2013 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 24) in Hollywood.

The 31-year-old entertainer belted out “And I Am Telling You” from Dreamgirls for the musical tribute at the show, which also included numbers from Chicago and Les Miserables.

Jennifer will be performing tonight during the movie musicals tribute and it is rumored that she will be singing “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from her film Dreamgirls.

Jennifer Hudson makes an appearance at the 2013 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards Luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday afternoon (February 21) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 31-year-old Oscar-winning entertainer was joined by her Dreamgirls co-star Anika Noni Rose, talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, Kelly Rowland, Gabrielle Union, Naomi Campbell, and Keke Palmer.

Jennifer Hudson heads into the NBC Studios for an early morning appearance on The Today Show on Monday (February 4) in New York City.

The 31-year-old singer talked about performing “America the Beautiful” with the Sandy Hook Elementary School Chorus the night before at the Super Bowl.

“It was emotional. Just being there and seeing the kids. I mean, they’re close and it’s very close to home for myself as well. It was overwhelming,” Jennifer said.

“Before we sat in the room and I got to meet them and then we went over the song. That’s where I couldn’t get through the song because it was just overwhelming. Before we all went out I hugged each and every one of them,” Jennifer added.

Jennifer also said that her favorite part of the evening was her pal Beyonce putting the lights out with her Super Bowl Halftime Show.
