Jennifer Hudson Performs 'I'll Fight' on 'The Voice' Results Show

Jennifer Hudson hits the stage for a powerful performance of her new anthem “I’ll Fight” on The Voice results show on Tuesday (December 11) in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old Oscar and Grammy-winning entertainer recorded the song for the soundtrack of the documentary film RBG and it’s eligible for an Oscar nomination.

“I’ll Fight,” released back in May, was written by legendary composer Diane Warren and its expected to get plenty of awards love this season.

Jennifer Hudson Sings 'Dreamgirls' Song Outside Her Assistant's Apartment Building - Watch Now!

Jennifer Hudson was at her assistant’s apartment building on and decided to break out into song.

The 37-year-old Oscar and Grammy-winning entertainer sang the final lines of the Dreamgirls song “I Am Changing,” which her The Voice contestant MaKenzie Thomas performed on the show this week.

“This is what @itsmakenziet inspired me to do. disturbing the peace of my assistant @sincerelylogan_ @wallybean1 building. I couldn’t resist the acoustics! I think I got away with it. I’m going to start singing this again. Thanks to both my contestants #davon @itsmakenziet,” Jennifer captioned the clip on her Instagram account.

Jennifer Hudson Debuts Inspiring Music Video for 'I'll Fight' From 'RBG' - Watch!

Jennifer Hudson is back with a powerful new track called “I’ll Fight” from the upcoming film, RBG.

Penned by songwriter Diane Warren, the song was inspired by the massive turnout of voters at the midterm elections as an anthem for everyone who cast a ballot to make their voices heard, and as a reminder that fighting for your views goes beyond just one day or a year.

The accompanying music video, released on Wednesday (November 15), was directed by Tabitha Denholm and is a celebration of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Gloria Steinem, Dorothy Pitman-Hughes and more women who have left their mark on history.

Michelle Obama, Kelly Clarkson and Meghan Trainor are bringing the girl power!

Karlie Kloss, Zendaya, Freida Pinto, Jennifer Hudson and young women from all over the world joined in on the International Day of the Girl Celebration on Today on Thursday morning (October 11) in New York City.

The Today anchors also celebrated with their children, with plenty of dancing and singing all over the stage.

The concert was to honor International Day of the Girl, founded in 2012 by the United Nations, to raise awareness of the needs and important issues girls face across the globe due to gender inequity, including equal access to education, work training, legal standing, medical care and much more.

“Celebrating #DayofTheGirl with these trailblazers. Congratulations @michelleobama on launching @globalgirlsalliance working to improve the lives our girls through education,” Karlie wrote on her Instagram. See the epic selfie below!

Jennifer Hudson Was Asked By Aretha Franklin to Play Her in Upcoming Movie

Jennifer Hudson is going to live out her dream of playing Aretha Franklin!

The 37-year-old singer and actress opened up about her role in the upcoming film about Aretha‘s life while making an appearance on The Ellen Show.

Aretha said she wanted Jennifer Hudson to play her and it’s always been my dream to play Aretha, and it’s actually happening,” Jennifer explained.

She continued, “It blows my mind. I’ve always looked up to Aretha and to portray her — I cannot even speak about it because it’s like, ‘Oh, that’s a huge task.’ Think about it: It’s not just two, three decades of a career. This woman had a lifetime of a career. That’s like 70 years. I cannot even begin to imagine how long it’s going to take to cover.”
