Justin Bieber‘s dad Jeremy just took a major step in his relationship with his girlfriend Chelsey Rebelo – he proposed!

Last week, the 41-year-old proposed to his 28-year-old girlfriend while they were on a trip in St. Barts.

Jeremy and Chelsea have been dating for about two years, following Jeremy‘s split from his ex-wife Erin Wagner.

Justin Bieber‘s close relationship with his mom Pattie Mallette was well documented in his 2011 documentary Never Say Never, but he says they don’t have much of a connection anymore.

The 21-year-old singer said in a new Billboard interview that their relationship is “pretty nonexisting.”

“I was distant because I was ashamed,” Justin said. “I never wanted my mom to be disappointed in me and I knew she was. We spent some time not talking, so it takes time to rebuild that trust. She’s living in Hawaii now, so it’s hard, but getting better. She’s an amazing woman and I love her.”

Justin‘s mom gave birth to him when she was just 17 and his dad Jeremy Bieber was 18.

“He was immature,” Justin told the mag about his dad. “He left for like a year when I was about 4, went to British Columbia, came back on Father’s Day. I remember my mom said, ‘If you’re going to be here, you have to be here.’ There’s a misconception that he’s this deadbeat dad, but he has been in my life since. I was with him on weekends and Wednesdays.”

Justin Bieber is opening up more about those invasive photos of him taken in Bora Bora and his thoughts on his dad’s reaction to the pictures.

Here is what the 21-year-old singer had to share with the Zach Sang & The Gang radio show:

On the photos: “At the end of the day, the photos, they’re not terrible! But, honestly at first and before the reaction was what it was and still with the reaction. I still felt like I wanted to keep that part for me. You know? I was never�” but I felt like it was a little bit of an invasion of privacy. And when I first found out about it, I was like… my heart sank.”

On his dad’s reaction: “I thought it was hilarious. ‘What do you feed that thing,’ he said. It’s such a dad thing to say. When I found out people were hating on him for saying that, I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ What dad wouldn’t be proud of that? It’s not like he’s saying it to an 11-year-old. I’m 21 years old.”

On if he has a name for his thing: “The fans do. They call it Jerry.”

Justin Bieber has been making headlines after photos surfaced of him completely unclothed while outside of his Bora Bora bungalow on a recent vacation.

Now, the 21-year-old singer’s dad Jeremy Bieber is commenting on the size of his “thing” in an awkward tweet.

“@justinbieber what do you feed that thing. #proud daddy,” Jeremy tweeted at his son along with a blushing face emoji.

While Justin‘s team has threatened legal action over the photos, he reportedly is not too bothered by the pictures as they show that he is well-endowed, according to TMZ.

The 21-year-old entertainer enlisted the help of his friends to make the lip-sync dance video, which is reminiscent of the one he made for her first single “Call Me Maybe.”

The video features Ariana and Frankie Grande, Kendall Jenner, his dad Jeremy, and friends Ryan Butler and Alfredo Flores, as well as Empire‘s Bryshere Gray, Rixton, singer CL, Lance Bass, David Foster, social media star Matthew Espinosa, The Voice contestant Kimberly Nichole, and designer Jeremy Scott.

At one point, Justin mouths the words “I’m pregnant” to Kendall, which is pretty hilarious. Watch below!

The 20-year-old singer was spotted enjoying the sights with his dad Jeremy while being surrounded by fans during the outing.

Justin and Jeremy came to Rome after spending some time in Florence, where they drove Vespas around town.
