Jeremy Renner showed off his resiliency and sense of humor while making his first late-night show appearance after his horrible snow plow accident.

The 52-year-old Hawkeye actor started the new year in the hospital after breaking “35 or so” bones and nearly dying when he was run over by a snow plow.

While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jeremy joked that it was all a publicity stunt. He also shared some details about the experience, revealing the first thing he thought after waking up from surgery and if he deserved the title of “toughest Avenger.”

He even revealed how co-star Paul Rudd made him laugh while he was in recovery.

Jeremy Renner is back in the public eye, months after his tragic snow plow accident.

The 52-year-old Marvel star was seen using a cane for assistance while walking into the studio for a Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday afternoon (April 10) in Hollywood.

Jeremy was spotted going to Six Flags over the weekend for his first big outing after the horrible accident.

Last week, Jeremy gave his first public TV interview on ABC with journalist Diane Sawyer and he opened up about the snow plow accident. During the interview he talked about the reason why he blames himself for the accident and what he yelled seconds before he was crushed by the snow plow.

Jeremy Renner made his first big public outing after his horrible snow plow accident, and he got around in style.

The 52-year-old Marvel star was run over by a snow plow on his property, suffering horrible injuries in the freak accident at the start of the year. He was released from the hospital later that month and has been keeping fans up to date with his recovery ever since.

Over the weekend, Jeremy traveled with his family to Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Valencia, Calif. and shared some photos and videos from the trip with his followers on social media.

Jeremy Renner‘s first TV interview since his snow plow accident just aired on ABC and new details about the terrifying experience have been revealed.

The 52-year-old Oscar-nominated actor chatted with Diane Sawyer and discussed what happened in the moments before the accident, which occurred on New Year’s Day in Nevada.

Jeremy and his 27-year-old nephew Alex were using the snow plow to tow a Ford Raptor out of the snow and after they successfully completed the task, Alex disconnected the chain between the two vehicles. Jeremy was in the plow as it began to slide on ice and he was worried for Alex‘s safety, so he stuck one foot out of the plow to look back, but he forgot to step on the parking brake. Jeremy lost his footing and fell out of the snow plow.
