The live production of Jesus Christ Superstar is happening TONIGHT (April 1) and you can listen to John Legend and Sara Bareilles sing the music right here!

The soundtrack features such songs as “Gethsemane (I Only Wanted to Say),” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” and “Superstar.”

You won’t be able to download the complete soundtrack from the live television version until April 6, but the iTunes pre-order is up now and some songs are available already.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice‘s Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert is set to air tonight!

The cast list is full of celebs, Broadway greats, and more, set to perform the musical live from Brooklyn in just a few hours on Easter Sunday (April 1).

A live audience will get to check out the show, which will be airing on NBC from Williamsburg’s Marcy Armory. The hit show first debuted on Broadway back in 1971, and has been revived on Broadway three times since: in 1977, 2000, and 2012.

NBC has released a gallery of new portraits featuring John Legend and the cast of the upcoming Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.

John will be playing Jesus in the show alongside Sara Bareilles as Mary Magdalene, Brandon Victor Dixon as Judas, Alice Cooper as King Herod, and Jason Tam as Peter.

The show will air live on Sunday, April 1 and it will be performed in front of a live audience at the Marcy Avenue Armory in Brooklyn, N.Y.

John Legend is bringing Jesus to the main stage in the live-televised production of Jesus Christ Superstar – and you can check out a first look of the show now!

The 39-year-old entertainer will be playing the titular role alongside Sara Bareilles as Mary Magdalene, Alice Cooper as King Herod, and Brandon Victor Dixon as Judas.

The show will be performed at Marcy Armory in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y. in front of a live studio audience.

The stars were joined by co-star Brandon Victor Dixon.

“Casual Mary-ing before Jenna-ing tonight. #dreamy,” Sara wrote on Instagram that morning. If you didn’t know, she is currently starring as Jenna in Waitress on Broadway!

It was just announced that Hamilton actor Brandon Victor Dixon will play Judas.

The show will be performed at Marcy Armory in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y. It will be s staged version of the 1971 musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The Grammy-nominated singer will star opposite John Legend as Jesus and Alice Cooper as King Herod.
