Platinum-selling singer Jewel Kilcher eloped with her longtime boyfriend, rodeo champion Ty Murray, in the Bahamas during a private ceremony Thursday night.

“She wore a traditional wedding gown, while Ty wore his favorite blue jeans, white shirt and cowboy hat,” Jewel‘s rep tells People. “The couple is very happy and look forward to enjoying their honeymoon.”

Jewel, 34, and Ty, 38, have been together for ten years and live together at a ranch in Stephenville, Texas.

Jimmy Fallon and Jewel both walked the red carpet together at the movie premiere of Arthur and the Invisibles in NYC earlier today. Jimmy lends his voice talent as chubby, rubber troll Betameche and Jewel sings on the soundtrack. (Madonna and David Bowie‘s voices also made the movie… and Snoop Dogg is also featured on the soundtrack.)

Jewel is seen pictured here with country singer Cowboy Troy. Both will be co-hosting Nashville Star, the country music singing competition. The fifth season of Nashville Star premieres on Thursday, Jan. 11 @ 10PM ET/PT on USA Network.

No exclusive interview. Tear, tear. Jewel arrived earlier this afternoon with an entourage of eight, quickly swooping in and out of Herald Square, where Jewel performed a three song set — “Hands,” “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” and “Silent Night.”

It was nearly 70 degrees out and Jewel was wearing a long, thick winter coat. Jewel anticipated it being a bit colder out and said, “I’m gonna sweat. But I don’t care!” Video below… “Hands” and “Silent Night” after the jump!
