Michael Cera flashes a smile alongside his co-star Lucas Hedges while taking a bow during the opening night curtain call for their play The Waverly Gallery held at the Golden Theatre on Thursday (October 25) in New York City.
The 30-year-old actor and Lucas, 21, were joined onstage by their cast mates Elaine May, David Cromer, Joan Allen, playwright Kenneth Lonergan and director Lila Neugebauer.
In The Waverly Gallery, Gladys is an old-school lefty and longtime owner of a small art gallery in Greenwich Village. The story intimately observes the impacts of her decline on her work and her family, especially her grandson.
The Broadway revival, which is set to play until January 27, marks the second Kenneth Lonergan play to be seen on the Great White Way in 2018, following Second Stage’s production of Lobby Hero earlier this season – Buy tickets here!
