Julia Roberts, George Clooney, & Jodie Foster Take EW's New Cover!

George Clooney, Julia Roberts, and Jodie Foster take the cover of EW‘s new issue in promotion of their film Money Monster.

Here’s what they had to share:

Julia, on life in the spotlight: “For each of us, the measure of our work isn’t the measure of who we are. We have super-cool jobs, but we’re all going about our lives in the fashion that most people do: with integrity and kindness and, hopefully, a certain amount of privacy.”

Jodie, on getting George and Julia to sign on for the film: “It was really just one of those great presents from the sky. I was happy to make the movie for 20 cents, however we could get it off the ground.”

Jodie Foster On Female Director Gap: 'It's Not As Cut-and-Dry As Everyone Thinks'

Jodie Foster keeps it chic and sophisticated while attending the 25th Anniversary Event Of Silence Of The Lambs presented by The Academy Museum during the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival on Wednesday (April 20) in New York City.

The 53-year-old actress-director opened up about the lack of women filmmakers in the industry.

“Having been around and making movies for 50 years, the issues are way more complicated than the dialogue,” Jodie expressed (via THR). “Saying, ‘Why are there no women directing mainstream franchises?’ is such a simple question that there are so many reasons. Some of them are about our psychology, our financial world, the global economy, any number of things. There are so many answers to that question that go back hundreds of years. It would be nice to have a more complex conversation and to be able to look at it as more than just a quota.”

“It’s not as cut-and-dry as everyone thinks it is,” Jodie added. “I don’t think it’s a plot to keep women down collectively; it’s a bunch of people that weren’t thinking about it, including a lot of female executives who have risen to the top and have not made a dent in [securing opportunities for women filmmakers.]”

Saoirse Ronan on Her Eyes: 'My Eyes Became A Huge Part of How I Communicate On-Screen'

Saoirse Ronan shows off her dewy complexion in a black and white shot on the March issue of Interview magazine.

Here’s what the 21-year-old actress, interviewed by Jodie Foster, had to share with the mag:

On her relationship with her mother: I’m really close to my mom as well, and she came away with me up until I was 19…My mom has always been so wonderful and she’s always said to me exactly what you said: to always trust your instincts. And whether it’s about a script or whether to live in this city or live in that city, if you’re questioning it, maybe it’s not quite right for you.

On experiencing sadness after she wrapped Atonement: I told my mom that I was still very sad from Atonement and not being a part of that experience anymore. I said to her, “I don’t really have that much to say.” And she said, “You know, you don’t have to tell a story through words, you can always tell a story with just your face and your eyes.” I think it was from that moment that my eyes became a huge part of how I would communicate on-screen.

On the pressure she feels from her Oscar nomination: That’s the worst thing for me. I’m a huge worrier as well. The thing that I would worry about after being nominated again is, “How do I keep that up?” Not in relation to awards, but keeping up performances.

Saoirse also shares covers with Jodie Foster, Winona Ryder, and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
