Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski tied the knot!

The Morning Joe co-hosts married in a secret ceremony at the National Archives on Saturday (November 24) in Washington, D.C., Vanity Fair exclusively reported on Sunday (November 25).

The gathering was put together by making calls to family members and friends, and guests were not even alerted of the location of the dinner until that evening.

Mika wore a Milly dress during the ceremony, and the couple entered to the sound of Handel’s “Arrival of the Queen of Sheba” played by a string quartet. The ceremony was officiated by Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland.

“We wanted it to be really small and simple and not what you expected from Mika and Joe. Everything we do is exposed, and everything felt exposed every step of the way, so we want this to be private until it’s over. We wanted to recognize it more quietly and have the people who are most important to us around us. And you know, our show is a cocktail party every morning,” Mika said.

Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough made a special appearance on Tuesday night’s (July 11) The Late Show with Stephen Colbert with his co-host Mika Brzezinski, and revealed he was officially leaving the Republican Party.

The duo discussed being attacked on Twitter by President Donald Trump, railed against the G.O.P.’s refusal to disavow Trump‘s racism, and Joe announced that he plans to become an Independent.

“You have to ask yourself, what exactly is the Republican Party willing to do?” Joe told Stephen. “How far are they willing to go? How much of this country and our values are they willing to sell out?”

“I am a Republican, but I’m not going to be a Republican anymore,” Joe admitted. “I’ve got to become an independent. That’s not a party that Ronald Reagan can associate with; it’s certainly not a party that I can associate with.”

President Donald Trump has taken to his Twitter account yet again to send an attack at the hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe – Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.

The tweet came after the two hosts appeared on their show this morning to talk about Thursday’s tweets and deny allegations made in them.

“Watched low rated @Morning_Joe for first time in a long time,” Trump tweeted on Friday morning. “FAKE NEWS. He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no! Bad show.”

Trump initially tweeted that Mika was “bleeding badly from a face-lift” and he also said she has a “low I.Q.”

Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski have officially addressed the tweets made by President Donald Trump earlier this week, slamming their “ratings” and stating that Mika once “was bleeding badly from a face-lift.”

The duo postponed their vacation to appear live on their MSNBC show in the wake of his Thursday (June 29) Twitter rant that drew outrage from celebrities and more.

“We’re OK. The country’s not,” Joe expressed, adding that the president has an “unhealthy obsession with Mika” and is “much more vicious with women”

“He appears to have a fragile, impetuous, child-like ego that we’ve seen over and over again, especially with women. It’s like he can’t take it,” Mika added.

Saturday Night Live is poking fun at the co-hosts of Morning Joe‘s awkward, sexual tension!

During tonight’s cold opening, Kate McKinnon and Alex Moffat took on the roles of Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough – the co-hosts of the MSNBC political talk show who also recently announced that they were engaged.

The co-hosts get very hot and heavy with each other during their time on the air and gave off some very awkward sexual tensions where Mika at one point bites on Joe‘s nose after he calls her “naughty.”

Halfway through the segment, they got a call from a “publicist named John Miller live from the White House” – where the unmistakable voice of Alec Baldwin as Donald Trump comes through the line!

Donald Trump is claiming that MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are a “long-time couple.”

The Republican presidential nominee took to Twitter on Monday morning (August 22) to slam the hosts for being “clowns.”

“Tried watching low-rated @Morning_Joe this morning, unwatchable! @morningmika is off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess!” he tweeted. “Some day, when things calm down, I’ll tell the real story of @JoeNBC and his very insecure long-time girlfriend, @morningmika. Two clowns!”
