Arnold Schwarzenegger Reacts to Eliza Dushku's Accusations Against Joel Kramer

Arnold Schwarzenegger is speaking out following his True Lies on-screen daughter Eliza Dushku‘s allegations that she was sexually assaulted by the film’s stunt coordinator Joel Kramer.

The actor and former politician responded to a tweet from co-star Tom Arnold, who said that he, Arnold, James Cameron, and Jamie Lee Curtis would absolutely have done something if they knew what was going on at the time.

Tom, you bet your ass all of us would have done something. I’m shocked and saddened for Eliza but I am also proud of her – beyond being a great talent and an amazing woman, she is so courageous,” Arnold wrote in his tweet.

Jamie also spoke out in an op-ed piece this week.

Eliza Dushku's Legal Guardian on 'True Lies' Set Confirms Her Molestation Account

Eliza Dushku‘s legal guardian on the set of True Lies, Sue Booth-Forbes, is coming to her defense after coming forward with allegations of molestation against the film’s stunt coordinator Joel Kramer.

Eliza was only 12 years old at the time, and detailed the incident in a statement over the weekend.

Sue provided a statement to Deadline, writing, “Eliza Dushku is telling the truth.”

“I was her legal guardian and took seriously my need to have her in my sight at all times, which was often difficult to do. I was on the True Lies set for 3 weeks and reported Joel Kramer‘s inappropriate sexual behavior towards 12-year-old Eliza to a person in authority. I was met with blank stares and had the sense that I wasn’t telling that person anything they didn’t already know,” Sue continued. “I was at the hospital and can verify that she was hurt and in pain with breaks/cracks to her ribs. Surely they have medical records somewhere to prove that.”

“I tried to keep Joel away from her as did others working on the set, but because of all the stunts she had to do, he was constantly involved with her and her body. Those who knew didn’t know what to do and were far enough down the pecking order to be afraid of losing their jobs if they pressed the issue because all the power lay in the hands of those who called the shots and would stop at nothing to protect each other,” Sue continued.

“As I write this, I can feel a bit of the paranoia caused by associating my name, hence my business, with this volatile subject. No wonder people over time haven’t told their truth. Such unscrupulous, powerful, narcissistic, men without boundaries will do anything they have to to protect themselves, their reputations, each other, and most significantly their money. I have to wonder what could they do to me, my reputation, and my business,” Sue added. “But this time I am refusing to allow myself to be intimidated. Joel Kramer did what Eliza said he did. He is a pedophile, and he must face the consequences.”

Eliza Dushku's Alleged Abuser Responds to Allegations, Calls Them 'Atrocious Lies'

Joel Kramer, the True Lies stunt coordinator who Eliza Dushku has accused of sexually assaulting her at the age of 12, is speaking out to deny the accusations made against him.

Kramer told THR that the allegations are “atrocious lies” and that he is already getting death threats because of them. He says he did spend time with Eliza as she stated in her story, but that he was never alone with her.

“We took care of her like she was our kid,” he said. “I don’t ever remember being alone with her. ‘Luring’ her up to my hotel room, is just crazy.”

Kramer claims that Eliza had a crush on him, something he says an assistant on set alerted him to. He said, “I don’t know what goes through a young girl’s mind, I don’t know what goes through anyone’s mind. Something set her off somewhere.”

While Kramer plans on talking to a lawyer, he will not countersue if this goes to court. “I’m not even angry, I’m just so hurt,” he said. “I’m probably going to have to talk to an attorney at some point, that will cost me thousands of dollars to get to the bottom of this, but why would I want to countersue and ruin her life? It’s a lose-lose for everybody.”

Eliza Dushku Accuses 'True Lies' Stunt Coordinator of Molesting Her at Age 12

Eliza Dushku is speaking out in an open letter with allegations of being sexually assaulted by True Lies stunt coordinator Joel Kramer when she was just 12-years-old.

The actress, now 37, played the role of Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s daughter in the 1994 movie.

“When I was 12 years old, while filming True Lies, I was sexually molested by Joel Kramer, one of Hollywood’s leading stunt coordinators,” Eliza began her open letter. “Ever since, I have struggled with how and when to disclose this, if ever. At the time, I shared what happened to me with my parents, two adult friends and one of my older brothers. No one seemed ready to confront this taboo subject then, nor was I.”

“I am grateful to the women and men who have gone before me in recent months. The ever-growing list of sexual abuse and harassment victims who have spoken out with their truths have finally given me the ability to speak out. It has been indescribably exhausting, bottling this up inside me for all of these years,” she continued.

Eliza went on to describe in detail what happened when Kramer, who was 36 at the time, lured her to his hotel room and rubbed all over her with his naked body. She also alleges that after an adult friend of hers confronted him, that she was injured on a stunt he oversaw the next day.

Eliza says that she gained the conviction to stand up to her abusers from all the fans who tell her that her characters give them strength as well.

Most recently, Kramer has worked as the stunt coordinator on films like Blade Runner 2049, The Conjuring 2, and the television series Westworld and Star Trek: Discovery.
