Joey King will forever be proud of The Kissing Booth franchise and she doesn’t consider it a “stain” on her resume, unlike someone else in the cast.

During a recent interview with E! News, a reporter brought up Joey‘s former co-star and ex-boyfriend Jacob Elordi‘s comments about the franchise.

Jacob told GQ back in November, “I didn’t want to make those movies before I made those movies. Those movies are ridiculous. They’re not universal. They’re an escape.”

Joey was asked, “Why are Kissing Booth trilogies not a stain on your resume for you?”

Joey King is getting some of the best reviews of her career for her work in the new Hulu limited series We Were the Lucky Ones.

The 24-year-old actress is currently on a press tour to promote the series and is pictured her during a Washington, D.C. press day on Tuesday (March 26).

She is wearing a Marni look, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and Pomellato jewelry.

Joey stars as Halina Kurc in the series, inspired by the incredible true story of one Jewish family separated at the start of World War II, determined to survive and reunite. We Were The Lucky Ones premieres on Thursday, March 28 with the first three episodes followed by new episodes each week.

Joey King and Logan Lerman are feeling the love at the Los Angeles premiere of their new Hulu series We Were the Lucky Ones on Thursday night (March 21).

The costars posed on the red carpet at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, where they were joined by Joey‘s husband Steven Piet and Logan‘s fiancee Ana Corrigan.

Joey looked chic in a mint and champaign dress, which she paired with tasteful jewels. Logan opted for a long boat, which he paired with matching pants and a gray top.

We Were the Lucky Ones is a reunion for Joey and Logan who previously collaborated on Bullet Train. The limited series is based on a book written by Georgia Hunter and charts the real-life story of one Jewish family separated at the start of World War II.

Sydney Sweeney, Joey King, and Emma Corrin were among the celebs who sat front row at the show on Tuesday afternoon (March 5) in Paris, France.

More stars in attendance included Cailee Spaeny, Aja Naomi King, Bel Powley, Hailee Steinfeld, Lorde, Myha’la Herrold, and more.

Sydney made a fashion statement by wearing a pair of silver Miu Miu panties that are worth over $5,000.

This was Joey‘s second show of the week after she attended the Balenciaga fashion show on Sunday. On her day off from fashion week, she went to Disneyland Paris. She wrote on Instagram, “The only way to the twilight zone, is through Paris👻 thank you so much @disneylandparis for having us, Ratatouille the ride did something to my soul, Crush’s coaster is elite, and Autopia reminded me of me and my sisters arguing over who would drive when we were kids 🥰….we truly loved every second 🐀🐢.”
