Jóhann Jóhannsson has sadly died at the age of 48.
The Academy Award-nominated, Icelandic-born composer was found dead at his apartment on Friday (February 9) in Berlin, according to his manager Tim Husom.
Johann was responsible for composing for films including The Theory of Everything, Arrival and Sicario.
The cause of death is unknown at this time, and is being investigated.
Joann was nominated at the Oscars, the Grammys and BAFTA for The Theory of Everything in 2014, and won the Golden Globe for his score.
He was also a solo musician, releasing his first album Englaborn in 2002.
