Cara Delevingne Says She & 'Paper Towns' Character Margo Both Live On Instinct

Cara Delevingne helps co-star Nat Wolff out with picking on author John Green at the photo call for Paper Towns held at The Corinthia Hotel on Thursday afternoon (June 18) in London, England.

The 22- and 20-year-old actors were also joined by director Jake Schreier for the event.

“I think the weird thing was, when I read the book and I read the script, there were a lot of stories and things that she’d been through that I really recognised and identified with,” Cara explained about her connection with the book.

She added, “And a lot of things in the script that she says, I’ve said before, which really freaked me out. There are some things that are different, I hope, but I guess there’s a lot that is very similar. She’s [Margo] very impulsive, she lives on instinct quite a lot of the time, which is probably the main thing I feel like we share.”

Cara is also pictured leaving BBC Radio Studios earlier in the day.

FYI: Nat is wearing a Nudie Jeans denim jacket and jeans with an Alternative shirt.

John Green Responds to Tumblr Accusations of Sexual Abuse

“The Fault In Our Stars” author John Green has taken to his Tumblr account to respond to sexual abuse accusations that members of the social media site have directed at him.

The 37-year-old writer, whose book “Paper Towns” was also just made into a movie being released this summer, has a very active presence on Tumblr and it seems some people decided to troll his account because of it.

“i bet john green thinks people don’t like him because he’s a ‘dork’ or a nerd or whatever when in reality it’s because he’s a creep who panders to teenage girls so that he can amass some weird cult-like following,” one Tumblr user wrote. “and it’s always girls who feel misunderstood, you know, and he goes out of his way to make them feel important and desirable.”

Here is how John responded to this post: “You want me to defend myself against the implication that I sexually abuse children? Okay. I do not sexually abuse children.”

“Throwing that kind of accusation around is sick and libelous and most importantly damages the discourse around the actual sexual abuse of children. When you use accusations of pedophilia as a way of insulting people whose work you don’t like, you trivialize abuse,” he continued.
