Pia Toscano Will Star in Scorsese Themed 'For the Record'

Pia Toscano is set to join some of Broadway’s biggest stars in the upcoming production of For the Record inspired by Martin Scorsese films.

The former American Idol contestant will appear alongside Tony winner John Lloyd Young, Tony nominee Carmen Cusack, Grammy nominee B. Slade, and more. The production will run at Los Angeles’ Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts from September 21 through October 16.

For The Record: Scorsese – American Crime Requiem will “center on Marty’s Place – a four-tier venue rising from the orchestra pit to the light grid – and take audiences from a Lower East Side dive bar to an Italian restaurant, a Las Vegas casino and a classic rock concert stage,” according to THR.

Some of the films highlighted in the show will be GoodFellas, Casino, The Departed, The Wolf of Wall Street and more.

'Jersey Boys' Cast Celebrate Their Movie at L.A. Film Festival

Erich Bergen and John Lloyd Young buddy up at the premiere of their movie Jersey Boys at the closing night of the 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival on Thursday (June 19) in Los Angeles.

The guys were joined by their co-stars Vincent Piazza, Michael Lomenda, Mike Doyle, Freya Tingley, Erica Piccininni, Renee Marino, and director Clint Eastwood.

The movie musical tells the story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960s rock group The Four Seasons. It is in theaters now!

The trailer for the highly anticipated movie Jersey Boys has finally been released!

Clint Eastwood has turned the Tony Award-winning musical into a big screen version starring the musical’s original star John Lloyd Young as Frankie Valli.

The film tells the story of four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who came together to form the iconic 1960s rock group The Four Seasons. The story of their trials and triumphs are accompanied by the songs that influenced a generation, including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “Dawn,” “Rag Doll,” “Bye Bye Baby,” “Who Loves You,” and more.

Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda, Vincent Piazza, Christopher Walken, and Mike Doyle also star in the movie, set to hit theaters on June 20.
