Kelsey Grammer addressed how the new Frasier revival would address the loss of John Mahoney, who died in 2018 and played patriarch Martin Crane in the comedy series.
Kelsey, 67, will reprise his role as radio psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane, it was announced in October.

John Mahoney, who famously portrayed Martin Crane on Frasier, has sadly died.
According to TMZ, the 77-year-old actor passed away in hospice care on Sunday (February 4).
The British-born actor played the father of Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce‘s characters on Frasier for 11 seasons.
Over 30 years in show business, John won a SAG Award, a Tony and was nominated for two Emmys and two Golden Globes.
He most recently had a recurring role in Hot in Cleveland.
Our thoughts are with John‘s family during this difficult time.
