There is some good news from Netflix after yesterday’s upsetting turn of events.

It was just announced that Rob Lowe and John Owen Lowe‘s TV series Unstable has been renewed for a second season.

In a statement, they said: “It’s a dream come true for us to jump back into the world of Unstable. Here’s to season two and the many hours of family therapy that we will need along the way.”

This news comes just after Netflix canceled 5 massive fan favorite TV shows.

Rob Lowe is opening up about his success, and the success of others he may have inspired along the way!

The 59-year-old actor sat down for a conversation on Variety’s Awards Circuit Podcast, out now.

During the conversation, Rob spoke about his conversation with Dick Wolf, 9-1-1‘s network change, Ryan Murphy, working with real-life son John Owen Lowe, and much more.

Rob Lowe is sharing about a very significant milestone.

The 59-year-old actor shared that he is celebrating 33 years of sobriety.

“33 years ago today I found recovery and a tribe that has sustained me on my incredible, grateful journey,” Rob said.

John Owen Lowe addressed his status as a “nepo baby” in a new interview.

The 28-year-old son of actor Rob Lowe has shared the screen with his father several times, most recently in their new Netflix series Unstable. In it, they play an estranged father-son pair who are brought back together at a chaotic time.

He explained how similar the roles they play in the show are to their actual selves and addressed how closely he resembles his dad while speaking with Variety.

Rob Lowe and John Owen Lowe got a ton of support from their famous friends at the premiere of their new Netflix series, Unstable!

The father and son duo were joined by longtime pals, Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger, her mom Maria Shiver, and brother, Patrick Schwarzenegger, as well as Rob‘s brother Chad Lowe.

Rob‘s wife and John‘s mom, Sheryl Berkoff, and son/brother, Matthew Lowe, were also spotted inside the premiere.

In addition to the A-list stars in attendance, Rob and John‘s co-stars Sian Clifford, Aaron Branch, Rachel Marsh, Tom Allen, Merrick McCartha, Frank Gallegos, and Chris Aquilino were also at the premiere.

Brian Michael Smith, Brianna Baker, and Natacha Karam, who star on 9-1-1 Lone Star with Rob also stepped out in support.

Julia Garner joined her husband, Mark Foster and Sven Faulconer, for the event too. Sven and Mark composed the series’ music.

John Owen Lowe opened up in a new interview.

The 28-year-old 9-1-1: Lone Star actor and son of Rob Lowe spoke with Men’s Health about growing up with a Hollywood star as his father.

During the conversation, he touched on the ongoing “nepo baby” debate, revealing his thoughts on the topic and agreeing that “there is a healthy conversation” embedded somewhere in the discourse.

He also revealed how he learned about his father’s sex tape and the journey he embarked on to find his own place in the world after fears of being compared to Rob.
