Last week, rumors surfaced that Kate would be moving to Maryland. Turns out she changed her mind!

“She is not buying or renting in the area,” a source tells People. “Kate was having lunch there, and after spending a total of one hour in a restaurant that has condos for sale above it, a rumor began that somehow, suddenly, she was buying a condo there. She didn’t even know there were apartments for sale there. It’s totally false.”

Reigning tabloid king Jon Gosselin makes tin can telephones with his two daughters, sextuplets Leah and Alexis, at their home on Thursday morning (July 30) in Reading, Penn.

The trio was taping a new episode of their hit TLC reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8.

The 32-year-old reality TV papa was also seen blowing up a plastic glove and giving a kiss on the lips to Leah.

Yesterday, Jon took the three girl sextuplets to the dentist — Alexis, Leah and Hannah — all while the cameras were still rolling!

Since splitting from wife Kate, Jon‘s been pretty open with his money. “Kate controlled the money for the longest time in their relationship,” a close friend of Jon‘s tells Life & Style. “Now I don’t think he’s worried about money at all. He’s taking a bunch of us to Las Vegas at the end of August. It’s going to be wild!”

Jon is also convinced Kate is hiding major sums of cash from him – and he’s determined to find it. “Jon is sure Kate‘s keeping money from him, more than a million dollars,” an insider reveals. “He thinks some of the money she’s made from her books and tours has been put someplace where he can’t access it. Jon says he found out Kate had been hiding about $100,000 in cash in the house…. It’s turned into an all-out war over money. Jon says Kate‘s books and speaking engagements were based on their children and their relationship, so he rightfully deserves a cut.”More Here! »

Jon Gosselin hams it up for the cameras, frantically waving his hands and making faces at paparazzi outside his home on Tuesday afternoon (July 28) in Reading, Penn.

The 32-year-old dad, who puffed away on his cancer stick, was seen at the car wash, the “UPS” mailing store, the bank and a friend’s garage.

According to Page Six, Jon strolled into Madison Avenue men’s shop Pravda Abbigliamento last week and bought a $950 pair of limited-edition, navy, patent-leather, wingtip shoes from Prada.

Jon recently returned from a trip to the the Hamptons with BFF Michael Lohan.

Jon Gosselin may be inviting even more women into his life by declaring that he’s currently not in a relationship. Here’s what the 32-year-old reality TV dad told People:

On his dating status: “At this point … I’m single – per se. I’m just a regular guy who just wants to have friendship and good times. And I like meeting people.”

On 22-year-old Hailey Glassman: “She’s always a good friend of mine. Her family is so good. They took me in and I lived there for a while. I love them to death. She doesn’t like this [craziness]. She loves me for who I am and not for what I do We are going to chill out for a while and see where it takes us. I’m not looking for anyone.”

On former Star magazine reporter Kate Major: “We are just friends.”

On the Gosselin kids meeting dad’s new girlfriend: “I don’t want to introduce anyone to my kids. We just have to play it by ear. I don’t know what it’s like to be divorced.”

But Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael Lohan showing him around the Hamptons scene: “I’m just a country boy. I’m kind of out of my element. It’s nice out here. Everyone has families, everyone has kids and everyone wants to help. Business is business, but we should put our families first and I think we’ll all be okay.”
