Shiri Appleby and her fiance Jon Shook have welcomed a baby girl named Natalie Bouader Shook, Us Weekly reports.

“She’s heaven,” the 34-year-old Girls guest star told the mag. “I’m beyond thrilled.” Shiri gave birth on Saturday (March 23) in Los Angeles.

“It’s really made the whole pregnancy a heightened excitement because you just don’t know what it’s going to be,” Shiri told Us about not finding out her baby’s gender until giving birth.

Shiri Appleby has a little one on the way!!!

The 34-year-old former Roswell actress shared the news that she and her fiance, chef and restaurant owner Jon Shook, are expecting their first child together, according to Zap2it.

Shiri and Jon became engaged earlier in the year, over the summer. “One second you’re having lunch, the next you have a ring on your finger!” Shiri said about saying “yes.”

Shiri Appleby is engaged to her boyfriend of two years, chef Jon Shook!

“One second you’re having lunch, the next you have a ring on your finger!” the 33-year-old actress told Us Weekly. “I was like, ‘I want to slow this moment down.’”

“We called and she said, ‘Mazel tov! When’s the date?’ We said, ‘We got engaged 30 seconds ago!’” Shiri told the mag about Jon‘s mom wanting the couple to get married quickly.

Shiri has previously appeared on The CW’s Life Unexpected and will have an arc on HBO’s Girls next season.
