Jordan Bratman kicks off his shoes and spends time with son Max at Under the Sea Indoor Playground on Wednesday (October 20) in Los Angeles.

After playing on the toy bus and mini motorcycle, the father-son duo headed over to Johnny Rockets for some lunch. Check out Max‘s cute Batman raincoat!

Over the weekend, Jordan treated the 2-year-old to some brunch at Figaro Care.

Meanwhile, Max‘s mama, Christina Aguilera, was in Hawaii with a few friends and celebrated the grand opening of the Waikiki Edition Hotel.

The day after news of her separation from husband Jordan Bratman broke last week, Christina Aguilera opened up about her split. Check out what the 29-year-old singer told Redbook (she’ll appear on the December cover):

On the split: “It’s not easy and there have been a lot of tears and sadness. It’s impossible to redefine yourself and your life overnight. Thankfully, I have my mom and a small group of close friends who are there for me 24/7 and whom I can trust and depend on. On days when it feels impossible to even get out of bed, much less function as a mother, their support and encouragement have kept me moving forward.”

On the rumors of infidelity on both sides: “Out of respect for my husband, I prefer to keep the specifics private. Right now, I’m just trying to figure out how to make it through each day.”

On her focus during this rough time: “Thankfully, I have [my 2-year-old son] Max to keep me on a sane path. His needs and happiness are my top priorities, and my biggest concern is to protect him and make him feel safe.”

Christina has asked that she and Jordan share joint custody of Max.

In divorce papers, Christina cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. Christina requested that the two share joint physical and legal custody of Max.

Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce from Jordan Bratman.

The 29-year-old singer confirmed the split on Tuesday (October 12), saying that she and Jordan had separated but that their commitment to their son, Max, would remain strong.

Christina listed the date of separation as September 11, 2010, according to TMZ.

There is a prenup – the petition asks that Christina‘s earnings before, during and after marriage be considered separate property.

Christina is seeking joint custody of Max and is asking that Jordan not be granted child support.

In a statement, the 29-year-old singer and Burlesque actress told Us Weekly, “Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.”

The couple met in 2002, wed in 2005, and have a 2-year-old son, Max. News of their breakup first surfaced earlier this morning.

Christina Aguilera and music exec Jordan Bratman have been separated for a few months, according to reports.

“They were very much in love,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “But over the last six months, it ­became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife… [Christina even] proposed their August trip to Italy to ­rekindle their relationship, but it didn’t help.

Adds the insider, “[Their 2-year-old son Max] is their main concern… Christina is doing her best to be a great mom. She has a lot to ­juggle, but she’s learning how to make it work and balance it all.”

Christina, 29, and Jordan, 33, met in 2002 and wed in 2005.
