Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Luke Evans and Kylie Minogue strike a pose on the green carpet while attending the 2019 Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition Preview Party held at the Royal Academy of Arts on Tuesday (June 4) in London, England.

The stars were joined at the event by Florence Pugh, Alexa Chung, Jorja Smith, James Bay, Iris Law, Ellie Bamber, Georgia Fowler, Stacy Martin, Kelly Osbourne and her beau Jimmy Q, Paloma Faith, Jennifer Saunders and Graham Norton.

Also in attendance were Lady Amelia Windsor, Nick Grimshaw, Joely Richardson, James Norton and Jodie Harsh.

Summer Exhibition is the world’s largest open submission art show and brings together art in all mediums – prints and paintings, film, photography, sculpture, architectural works and more – by leading artists, Royal Academicians and household names as well as new and emerging talent.

Here’s what the 21-year-old musician had to share in an interview with Adwoa Aboah:

On fame: “It was a big learning curve. I’m not a f**king robot. I tried, and I can’t do it. Last year it was too much – interviewers asking me the same things, people being like: ‘You’re so amazing.’ I just wanted a bit of normality, but that’s why I’m lucky with my family and friends…You need honest, real people around you that have their own problems, and want to talk to you about them and not just about what you’re doing all the time.”

On the meaning of beauty: “It’s being comfortable in your skin, and knowing that your imperfections make you perfect. You have to realise that you’ve got flaws and they’re fine – they just make you who you are.”

On being confident and wearing what you are comfortable in: “Photo shoots have kind of helped, because I do so many shoots where they only have clothes in sample sizes available, and I’m not sample size. Having to deal with not really fitting into certain clothes taught me a lot. If I was 15, I would have been so upset. But you just have to wear what you’re comfortable in.”

Donald Glover sports a fresh new look at the Academy Award and Multi-Grammy Nominee Ludwig Göransson’s Grammy Celebration!

The 35-year-old Atlanta star (aka Childish Gambino) stepped out with the 34-year-old Swedish composer at the event held on Thursday (February 7) in Los Angeles.

Donald had his beard bleached blonde as he joined enjoyed his night with his younger brother Stephen Glover.

Also in attendance were Miguel, Kali Uchis, Jorja Smith, Terry Crews, Hannibal Buress, and Nazanin Mandi.

Donald and Ludwig are nominated for Song of the Year for “This Is America” as well as Best R&B song for “Feels Like Summer” at the 2019 Grammys. Ludwig is also up for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media for Black Panther.

James Blake happily hits the red carpet alongside his girlfriend Jameela Jamil while attending Spotify’s 2019 Best New Artist Pre-Grammy Party held at the Hammer Museum on Thursday (February 7) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old Grammy-nominated singer and the 32-year-old Good Place star were joined at the event by Julianne Hough, Nicole Scherzinger, Ben Platt, Pete Wentz, Benny Blanco, Jorja Smith, FLETCHER, Carlos Vara, Keala Settle, Shangela and Sofi Tukker.

The epic night of breakthrough music honored Best New Artist nominees and featured performances from Sunday’s contenders including Dua Lipa, Margo Price, Chloe x Halle, Jorja, Bebe Rexha and H.E.R., along with a special set from DJ D-Nice.
