Joseph Gordon-Levitt chats on stage at the Participant Media And TimesTalks Host A Conversation event to announce his first look deal on Sunday (January 19) in Park City, Utah.
The 32-year-old actor and his HitRecord exec producer Jared Geller set a first-look deal with Participant Media and its television station Pivot, Deadline reports. Joining Joseph for the talk were New York Times Contributor Logan Hill and the founder of Participant Jeff Skoll.
“What Sundance is about is a lot of what HitRecord is about, creating an environment and community of artists,” Joseph said. “The difference with HitRecord is, it’s not limited to geography. We use the Internet, so for us it is artists from all over the world, coming together, encouraging each other, and collaborating to build off each other’s work to make these great things.”
