Peacock Drops Official Trailer for Will Forte's 'MacGruber' Series!

The official trailer for the upcoming MacGruber series has been released!

Will Forte is reprising his iconic role in the new series, which also features Kristen Wiig as Vicki St. Elmo and Ryan Phillippe as Dixon Piper.

MacGruber is based on the iconic SNL parody sketch and the series will pick up from where the 2010 film left off. After rotting in prison for over a decade, America’s ultimate hero and uber patriot MacGruber is finally released. His mission: to take down a mysterious villain from his past—Brigadier Commander Enos Queeth. With the entire world in the crosshairs, MacGruber must reassemble his old team, Vicki St. Elmo and Dixon Piper, in order to defeat the forces of evil.

Also starring in the series are Sam Elliott (Perry), Laurence Fishburne (General Barrett Fasoose), Billy Zane (Brigadier Commander Enos Queeth), Joseph Lee Anderson (Major Harold Kernst), and Timothy V. Murphy (Constantine Bach).

In addition to starring in the series, Will is serving as the co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer alongside John Solomon and Jorma Taccone.

Peacock’s new MacGruber series is going to be released very soon and a new teaser has been released!

Will Forte has returned to the iconic role and in addition to starring in the series, he’s serving as the co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer alongside John Solomon and Jorma Taccone.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Reveals Who Will Play Him in 'Young Rock' TV Series

Dwayne Johnson is revealing who will play him!

The 48-year-old Jumanji star unveiled the main cast of the upcoming NBC comedy series Young Rock on Wednesday (September 30), which is inspired by his life.

The show is set to premiere in 2021, and will feature various actors playing Dwayne, also known as The Rock, at different stages of his life.

Adrian Groulx will portray him at age 10, while Bradley Constant will play him at age 15. Uli Latukefu will play him from the ages of 18 to 20, when he’s recruited to play football at the University of Miami.

Stacey Leilua has been cast as his mother, Ata Johnson, and his late father Rocky Johnson will be played by Joseph Lee Anderson. Ana Tuisila will also star as Lia Maivia, Ata’s mother and his grandmother. Check out pictures of the entire cast on Dwayne‘s Instagram!

According to NBC, the actor himself will appear in each episode. The series will reportedly film in Australia over the next 18 months after receiving a straight-to-series order.
