Michael J. Fox will guest star on an upcoming episode of CBS’ The Good Wife!
The 49-year-old actor will play Simon Canning, a litigator facing off against Alicia (Julianna Margulies) in a huge class action suit.
“Canning is willing to use anything in court, including symptoms of his neurological condition, to create sympathy for his otherwise unsympathetic client: a giant pharmaceutical company,” CBS said (via EW).

Here’s what the 43-year-old actress had to share:
On looking refreshed despite her hectic schedule: “I know this is going to sound corny, but I love my life. I love my baby, so I love getting to wake up with him. And I have the most amazing job, with writing that any actor would love and costars who I can’t wait to see on Monday mornings. And I love coming home to my husband. If I had a job I hated or a husband who I was always fighting with, then I would look tired.”
On drawing inspiration from Silda Spitzer for The Good Wife: “Two months before the whole thing blew up, she looked incredible. And then you saw her standing beside him at that podium, and it looked like she had aged 10 years. And then a year after that, she was in this Vogue article and she looked like a brand new woman. There was light in her eyes.”
On doing another television series after ER: “I’ll always do television—television celebrates women. It’s where the best, richest roles for women are, period.”

Katie, on her passion for fighting colon cancer: “I’ve heard every colonscopy joke there is. People might feel like, ‘Shut up already. Here she is, talking about colons again.’ But I think the benefits far outweigh the negatives.”
Julianna, on using her fame for a good cause to fight Alzheimer’s: “As a celebrity, it’s my responsibility to give a voice to a cause. That’s what I can do to help. But when I meet the doctors who’ve been working with Project A.L.S. and learn about their research, I feel so inadequate. They’re the ones who are doing amazing things.”
Julianne, on a great giving back moment:“Last summer Mark Shriver [managing director of Save The Children's U.S. programs] and I went to Washington and lobbied Congress for a Kids Desk at FEMA. FEMA had nothing earmarked for children. Animals? Yes. Children? No. We asked Congress to allocate special provisions for children, and they said yes. That was very exciting.”

Julianna Margulies looks radiant as she accepts the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series at the Screen Actors Guild Awards held at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 23).
The 43-year-old actress sported a Cartier white gold and diamond deco Mandala cocktail ring and 19th century pear shaped diamond pendant earrings, in silver on gold by Fred Leighton.
“My mother and father call me after every single episode,” Julianna said (via UPI).
“They’ve been so supportive of me and have such interest in my life and every role I take — except for Snakes on a Plane. They weren’t so proud of that one, but they are proud of this one.”

Julianna Margulies shows off her award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 17) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 43-year-old Good Wife actress wore a Narciso Rodriguez garnet and black embroidered crepe dress to the big event.
While accepting her award, Julianna expressed how thankful she was.
“I’m blessed to go to this job everyday,” Julianna said. She also acknowledged CBS executives by thanking them “for believing in the 10′oclock drama.”
